When I wash my linens, I rotate in another set before returning the ones in the washing machine to the bed. So, things sit in the closet for any amount of time. Then, there I am, sniffing my pillow cases. Ditto, my tee shirts. I must have 200 to pick from. But even if one has sat folded up for months, the scent as I pull it it over my head is welcoming. Obviously, if the scent of baby lotion doesn’t appeal to you, pick a different scent. This will involve abandoning Dreft for Tide, Downy or some other. But artificially scenting fresh linens with something called fresh linen scent doesn’t work for me. I love this stuff.
