I’ve been buying Biokleen Free and Clear from Amazon for years, it’s wonderful … believe all the positive reviews. I’ve learned the hard way to order the 150 ounce bottle separately from other items (wait until your other Amazon orders have shipped), because if it’s packed in a larger box with other items (it’s 14 pounds) the unstable shipment might never make it to you, and you’ll have to wait for a refund and order all your items again. It’s worth it!

It’s natural, so I will use up this gallon size. I was wanting the 3x All Purpose Cleaning Concentrate that I bought earlier and used for stain removal. It is discontinued on Amazon, however. I contacted Biokleen direct, hoping I could purchase it there. It is indeed discontinued. This laundry product was recommended. I was told it will remove blood and odor stains. It did NOT take out light colored blood stains on a coverlet from my dog’s paws even though I pretreated the spots with it.

I’ve used natural detergents for many years, always looking for ones with a natural mild scent that cleans clothes well but that are affordable. This detergent is very concentrated and lasts for so long! We have a family of five with dogs and do lots of laundry. I can’t believe my luck to have found a natural detergent so reasonable priced and that lasts so long. It cleans great, has a nice mild citrus scent, and seems to be gentle enough on clothes. Once you try this you’ll never use another detergent again. I have sensitive skin and allergies to fragrances and chemicals. This eco friendly detergent has no fragrances or dyes, and comes in a size big enough for someone who does a lot of laundry. I really like how it doesn’t stay in your clothing. A lot of name brand detergent stays in your clothes wash after wash. One way you can tell is when you try to rinse a bottle out for recycling. How long does it take you? With biokleen 2 maybe 3 rinses and the detergent is gone. Not so with name brand detergent, your probably rinsing 8-10 times or more and just creating a soapy fragrant mess. Just think about your clothes, towels, bedding and how much soap is left in them. Just switch and try Biokleen, and you’ll find yourself wanting to wash everything you own to finally have clean items. While your at it get yourself some wool dryer balls and ditch the toxic dryer sheets. Yes, they are toxic. Especially to dogs and cats, certain ones can make them lose their hair. I speak from experience. Nothing like a Siberian husky and Australian shepherd with patches of hair missing because their mom tried a sensitive skin dryer sheet. Up your laundry game with biokleen and wool dryer balls a perfect combo, plus nobody should loose their hair. P.S. they actually make pet wool dryer balls 🐕🐈⬛🐑🏐

There are no suds, not even slight ones or a bubble, while the product is agitating with the clothes in the machine. While I have heard that a bunch of suds is not essential, and can be counterproductive in front-loading machines, their complete absence feels suspect. Also, the washers do a pre-wash, where all of the product is rinsed away in the pre-wash water, so how can it work? Unless there’s something laundry detergent manufacturers are not telling us about how their products actually are supposed to work. Bio-Kleen needs to address this lack of suds on the packaging.I like the idea of sheets. They’re convenient, no spilling, lightweight, easy to travel with. Would I buy this product again? I’m not sure. Maybe.

I became allergic back in 1990 and have not been able to use anything with fragrances in it. I’ve been using the unscented in this brand all this time and I decided to try the citrus and see if it was something I could use. And it is. I have no problem at all with this one and it does smell like just a touch of Orange. Love love love this product

I am picky with household and personal care products with respect to ingredient profile. No fragrance etc. This is my favorite non toxic laundry detergent after trying a couple others. This did leak in transit last time we ordered (never happened before). As a result some product was lost and we contacted Amazon customer service who sent a replacement. Happy with this product and will continue to buy as our primary laundry detergent.

This didn’t really work for me, but it’s totally my fault. We got our home renovated a year ago and left my husband’s suits on our bed and left our cat behind. Well, he was upset and needless to say, some pee got on one suit jacket. And managing young children, I didn’t get around to washing it until recently. I thought this detergent would work best, but I washed it 3 times with the detergent directly on the blazer- still smells like pee. Someone told me to try angry orange? Or white vinegar.If I could Re-do this, I’d just get the original biokleen carpet cleaner and soak the blazer asap . Dry clean told me only to gentle cold wash it , air dry before they can dry clean it. Best of luck to you with old set in stains on nice outfits. I’ll probably just have to toss it!

We are still trying out the effectiveness of the product, but I have a problem with the math. The directions say to use one cap full per load. I measured the volume of the cap to be 2 Tablespoons or 1 fl oz. There are 150 fl oz in the container as indicated on the label. How do you get 300 loads of laundry as advertised? The cost model is wrong and deceptive.

Oh man, I have nothing but good things to say about this detergent. It smells really good, but it’s not so abrasive that your clothes smell overpowering. Also cleans very well. I used just a tiny little scoop and my clothing comes out very clean. The only thing that, I don’t like is is kind of heavy, but that’s OK. And enough product for the money. I am usually very sensitive to different types of detergents. This one works out really well! I highly recommend this product.

I have been using non toxic laundry detergents for several years now and I have consistently had the same problem- No matter how many times we would wash our towels and active wear they would just never come out smelling fresh & clean. We do not use any fragrances, oils, or additives in the wash and now our laundry comes out smelling fresh & clean with out any lingering odor! With every load of laundry that we have done since making the switch to this detergent I have said, “I really need to leave a review!” So here I am! I’m telling everyone I know to make the switch because it’s so worth it! Even our infant who struggles with eczema and very sensitive skin has no issues with this detergent!

What I don’t like is the sheets a sticky/ moist… they’re not easy to take with you (like if you were going on a trip and wanted to do laundry)… so if you were keeping them at home in your personal laundry, great. I like this because it is environmentally friendly and it is so hard finding products safe to use with a septic tank. I also don’t care for the strong perfume scent laundry detergent. This seems to be working great so far. I don’t think I’ll get nearly as many loads as it states but i like it so far. The first review i came across was a person using to clean bed pads and that it got the smell out. I unfortunately did not have that experience with it as i also needed to use the detergent for some loads of bed pads. For regular every day laundry it works great. Its great for my septic system

I began using it about a year ago as my wife had health issues that required a detergent that was hypoallergenic and contained no fragrance or dyes. It is more eco-friendly than many detergents on the market, a plus, and is highly concentrated to last a long time. I highly recommend Biokleen!

I bought this with little expectation, I use 9 elements usually and it may smell good but it NEVER gets out smells. I have a 4yr old and she had accidents, it smells and I could never get the smell out with 9 so I would end up having to throw most things away. But this! This has taken away so many smells and lasts longer than any other detergent I’ve had. When it says a cap full will do you, it’s not joking. I’ve been impressed with it since the day I started using it and definitely don’t plan on going back! We’ve been using Biokleen for over ten years. We do a lot of laundry and if you are careful to use a half capful each time like you are supposed to the bottle lasts for a very long time. I don’t think any other brand has 300 loads. It’s great for sensitive skin and does not overly perfume your clothes. We also like the sports scent for the summer months.

I purchased this as an alternative to Tide, hoping that it would clean just as well without any of the bad chemicals. Regrettably I was wrong. It does not get out stains as well as Tide, nor do the color of the clothes have the same level of vibrancy over time (which I only noticed through time after using it for a while). I ended up getting Oxi Clean to supplement in the wash because the clothes were not coming out nearly as clean. I tried a different non toxic brand also and I had the same results, so I can’t say if this is really Biokleen’s fault or the fact that “clean” detergents just can’t do as good of a job.The pros are is that this thing lasts forever. One load uses a very small amount of detergent. The other obvious pro is that it’s non toxic and has a scent free version.I unfortunately switched back to Tide as I just haven’t been able to find a non-toxic detergent that does a better job. After 3.5 years, I still have 1/3 of the bottle of Biokleen left. We use it on laundry that is delicate, not very dirty, or that we don’t care about the aesthetics of (such as rags and older towels).While I won’t be purchasing it again when it is out, I do appreciate its focus on being a “clean” household item. If you’re switching over from a conventional laundry detergent, there’s a high chance you’ll notice a difference, so weigh the pros/cons for yourself based on what’s most important.

These worked perfectly for throwing in our suitcase when traveling. Our very sensitive skin had no issues, which was a relief. However, they don’t clean as well as our everyday detergent. That was most obvious based on the smell – the smell of our children playing in the dirt still lingered on the clean clothes. It was also apparent just based on the everyday dirtiness that would normally come out and didn’t.I’ll keep the box for future trips, but after trying it for a couple weeks at home, won’t continue regular use.

I use a lot of detergents to see which one works the best with my sensitive skin. The last brand from a major company start with “Tar..” one I used caused me to cough in the morning and have really itch skin. Biokleen has worked very well with my skin and I really like the smell. It does a pretty good job with stains. I was surprised it got a stain out that the other major brand could not. I am happy with this Biokleen and would buy it again. It seem pricey but it last a long time.

For the life of me, I can’t understand why people buy the expensive and overly perfumed brand-name detergents at supermarkets. Biokleen is economical— except for extra big loads, I use only half a capful (and the cap is pretty small), and get great results. Clothes and towels and sheets all smell fresh (even my sweaty cycling kit) but not stinky with detergent perfume.Biokleen is made from natural ingredients, not harsh chemicals— another big plus. We’ve been using it for six or seven years and will never go back to the heavily advertised crappy detergents! This big $35 bottle lasts my wife and I about 18 months 😎

I spent a good deal of time looking for an alternative to Tide. I used several other brands of clean detergents and found myself with bigger problems, (thick, nasty residue in my washer tub and spots on my clothes, Zumm,) or clothes that required extra cleaning for a half cleaned feel, (thanknyou dirty labs AND Dropps.) I had used the enzyme cleaner from this brand with wonderful results and decided to give the laundry soap a try. Here is what I found:- It is great for sensitive skin. No itchiness, no hives, no discomfort. In addition, my child is prone to eczema flare ups and has done well with this laundry soap.- It really does clean well. You may have to adjust how much soap you use, or how big of a load of laundry you are washing, especially if you are doing a load that has sweaty, stinky, or soiled clothing. For a normal sized, large load, (2/3 up my xl top loading washer,) without any real soiling, (no drips, dirt, grime, etc.) the instructions on the bottle are great- full capful of their tiny cap. For more soiled or stinky items, either use a smaller load size or more soap, you really have plenty, you’ll still be saving money, and it certainly has better ingredients.- I still have to add borax, washing soda, and/or vinegar for certain loads, just the same as I did before when using tide. Just because it is a clean brand doesn’t mean you won’t have to pretreat stains or add in additional laundry helpers. (I use vinegar for my softener and it also helps with ridding things of their stink. It may come out of the washer smelling slightly like vinegar but by the time it’s dried the smell is gone.)- While it doesn’t have the optical brighteners that most normal brands have, I am appreciative for that fact. I don’t want my clothes coated in some chemical to make them seem brighter and more colorful, all while hiding the stains and sealing in dirt and grime. (Try stripping your clothes in the bathtub sometime and you’ll see all that brands like Tide really does miss.) I feel like our clothes still look and feel great. They aren’t being stripped of their color or worn down faster through the wash like we experienced with dirty labs, (all while still not getting the clothes fully clean…) and we also do not get random splotches of oil like residue on our clothes like we did with Zumm. We certainly haven’t had the problem of having to scrape gunky pod residue off of our clothes like we did with dropps.- It doesn’t leave much of a smell on your clothes, but it certainly takes smells of perfume, food, sweat, etc. out.- One bottle lasts a very long time. I typically use a full capful for a load, (clothes filling 1/2-2/3 of my xl washer tub,) which is maybe even less than the smallest load size for Tide, and I get really great results. I also tend to either run my clothes on a prewash cycle, to rinse surface dirt and grime off, or a soak cycle to help loosen more set in things off. For things that are heavier soiled, perfume/cologne laden, or sport/gym related I either lessen the clothes or increase the soap. You definitely have to find your rhythm with it, but I had to do the same with Tide too. All of this said to share that I typically use no less than a full capful, and sometimes use up to 2 full capfuls, and I go through a bottle once every couple of months. All in all, this is a great product. Your clothes wash well in it, (you may just need to adjust soap amount or load size,) they aren’t broken down faster by harsh formulas, they aren’t splotchy or half cleaned like a lot of other natural brands seem to offer, they aren’t laden with all sorts of chemicals or perfumes, and you really get your money’s worth.

Read onThis is only my 3rd bottle in three+ years.I have a Samsung front loading washer and I work in an industry where I regularly get covered in kitchen grease. I have never had a problem with getting the grease out which is more than I can say for the commercial brands. While I live alone because of the job I often have to do multiple washes per week.Half a small capful is all you need and clean washing comes out of the machine.I love the fact that it is eco friendly with an added money saving bonus…. Apart from towels I have not needed fabric conditioner of any kind since I’ve been using it and my clothes feel great!It’s July 2024 and I checked when I ordered this bottle and it has lasted since April 2023. 15 months! Overall we are extremely happy with this product. It has a nice fresh scent, seems to clean our clothes really well. We are an extremely busy household that probably does up to 10 loads of laundry a week. Does it clean 300 loads, maybe if they were small, but it does leave clothes clean with a nice light fresh scent. Have bought this several times and we are always very happy with the product.

I am a stinky, messy person and this works so well. It has a light frest smell, but it really gets everything out. We do a lot of laundry, and I last bought it 8/23 and I am reupping 10/24. Effective. Long lasting. I would recommend this to anyone, particularly if you are sensitive to strong laundry detergent smells.

I love that it doesn’t have chemicals and does create build up on the clothes. My wife has migraines and it helps that this isn’t overly scented detergent.
