I’ve always known this as the ‘green stuff’ that my grandma had at her lake house for when you get a mosquito bite. Thirty years later, I bought a new bottle that actually had the label on it, and found out it’s for joint relief. Now I use it for both mosquito bite relief and muscle/joint relief!!!!

This is the best topical medicine ever to releave pain in hands, feet, knees, back. My Mom introduced this to me several years back when she was alive. She always found the best medicines to relieve aches and pains. This is one of the greatest items my Mom ever introduced me to. My wife love it too. Just recently she pulled the tendon in the back of her foot. I applied this to her ankle and tendon and instantly she was able to move freely. Of course she took precautions to not further injur herself; however, this is one of those items that you should pack in your Go-Bag! Take Hiking, Camping, on Vacation, etc.

I have used Absorbine Jr. since I was a child. Am not going to says it is a miracle liniment, but close. I have used it on my daughter to cure her ring worm (fungal like athlete’s foot). I got blood poisoning from a blister. Absorbine Jr. in a very hot foot bath every 3 to 4 times and it was abated. Great for aches and pains as well as athletes foot. I highly recommend it. Yes it is smelly, but it works.

I rarely give 5-star ratings, but I’ve been using Absorbine Jr all my life and I can’t image life without it. the first time I used it was when I was a young boy, my dad used it on my athlete’s foot. It was a bad case. My skin was cracked between my toes. The Aborbine stung like nothing I’d ever experienced at the time, but the next morning my athlete’s foot was all but gone. after another day or two of treatment it was completely cleared up.Now I use it for muscle aches, back pain, neck pain, arthritis pain, you name it. this stuff is sooooo under rated. try it, you’ll like it!

though it is labeled for pain, cramps, inflammation, aches, etc. … and, yes, it does those jobs very effectively… this product is also very effective as an age-old elixir for itching between toes(from wearing socks all day) and itching in your groin area..(from prolonged skin-skin contact)… more commonly known as athlete’s foot & jock itch… and, nothing clears it up and reduces the itching from athlete’s-itches like Absorbine Jr… nothing!i have tested out a couple dozen products, both OTC and prescription, and nothing both instantly alleviates the itching and clears up the root cause in a day or two! I recall it at my Grandmother’s place in the 60s to the early 70s and it was always on hand for her very active grandkids, who played all day in socks and sneakers, hence itching between toes was prevalent and getting out the Absorbine Jr. was just business as usual!it smells the same and looks the same as it did 40+ years ago… and, still does the job just as effectively!!!It must have some inactive ingredient that aides in cutaneous penetration… because, it most definitely does not remain superficial and it absorbs exceptionally well and you can feel it penetrating the layers of your skin… this penetration is great for the muscles and it clears up those itches and the start of that fungi in a few treatments/couple days max… and, it is helping a great deal with the muscle aching phenomenon (motor neurons dying) associated with als (lou gehrig’s)… i feel it is equivalent to Penetrex, in it’s ability to alleviate very cramped, inflamed, or painful, uncomfortable muscles, yet Penetrex does not have the athletee’s-itches eliminating capabilities that Absorbine Jr. has. Penetrex is also available here on Amazon. it is a very effective product and works to minimize or reduce it’s claims and i use Absorbine Jr. alternatively with the Penetrex to reduce muscle discomfort; one day – Absorb. The product produces a warm feeling that masks aching arthritis pain even after the warm feeling goes away. It doesn’t eliminate the basic problem causing the pain, but does relieve the ache. Its a thin, clear liquid that leaves no noticeable residue, but does have an odor. It seems to work better than some other products I’ve tried. I say give it a try. It might work well for you.

It works for what I purchased it for if you want to relieve sore muscles this will do the job. There is a tingling sensation but after that goes way you can tell that has worked your problem area.I like to put some on before I go to sleep and in the morning I am able to get out the bed with no soreness or aches.

****update**** Latest shipment was received with all three product boxes crushed and the liquid had leaked , in varying amounts, from all three bottles. The selling company was VerSure. A refund was given and I can keep the product. I think I must throw them away. And, I will not order from VerSure again.I have been using Absorbine Jr and/or Absorbine Jr Plus for over 50 years. When I was younger, I used it for occasional aches and pains. Now that I’m older, I use it for a chronic pain. I always keep some on hand.

It appears to work as well as naproxen sodium for me when they are used on alternate days. Knee arthritis is a variable pain in my case – some days are worse than others – I walk my dog in the woods each day. At 81 I find it best to be optimistic and take what relief I can get since I have arthritis in both knees.

Absorbine is not in any way a remotely “new” formula. But its usefulness — for man or beast! — remains unexcelled.(Something the product does not mention but which I have proven through a lifetime of usage: NOTHING beats Absorbine for quieting the itch/sting of mosquito or other insect bites. 🙂

I bought this thinking it was the same as the original. I read the ingredients and was disappointed until I googled absinthium oil, which is wormwood oil. Which is an ingredient in the absorbing jr plus . So I am assuming it is the same recipe. Anyways it works just as good as the original.

This stuff really works to relieve muscular aches and pains and lasts for hours. Does not burn your skin like some of those heat inducing creams. The feeling is a bit cool when applied and within a few minutes, pain is decreased by 60-85% from what my husband and I have experienced. We really need this product to have on hand for our end of the day muscle pains. Highly recommend and will remain a loyal customer.

One of 3 was empty and package was wet with contents. One of the the 3 was completely full, the other was not quite full. I am a 96-year-old confined to my apt. in a retirement community and cannot deal with returns. I have used Absorbine, Jr. for many years and have never had this problem before.
