Paired with my two-stage Robinair vacuum pump, I’m easily and consistently able to pull an ultimate vacuum below the rated ultimate vacuum of my pump.The rated ultimate vacuum of my pump is 35 microns. I’ve gotten down to 9 microns ultimate vacuum with this oil.

    It had been several years since I used my Harbor Freight vacuum pump. Dumped the old pump oil out and replaced it with this (fill to the fill line on the sight glass) and it pulls right down to 30 inches of mercury (‘complete’ vacuum, in theory).The instructions on this oil say to replace the pump oil every time you evacuate the a/c system on your vehicle. The reason: The vacuum oil is hygroscopic (absorbs moisture from the air). Your vehicle’s a/c system does not like moisture – at all. Replace the vacuum pump oil before you start the job. (This bottle will fill my vacuum pump several times.) Keep the bottle tightly sealed.

    This was my first install of a mini-split; just vacuuming the lineset. Had to release the first vacuum due to time constraints, and use new oil the next day. Changed it out to this oil and did great in the Extreme Power pump kit purchased here.

    From an engineering standpoint Robinair builds some of the best vacuum pumps of the market especially the blue handled ones like the 15600. They have been building this pump for at least thirty years and this premium oil results in a better vacuum and long life of the pump. It is important to change out the oil after each evacuation to protect the pump.

    I got this for my uncles’ Vacuum pump since this is the one that he said it required. Dad was borrowing the pump and ran out of oil so got this on order. It arrived on time and we gave what was left over to my uncle so he would have it for later. I guess it is good stuff if it was a requirement.

    Bought a Dayton vacuum pump off of an old timer at work he had for along time, most likely the pump is older than me. The oil look pretty bad, so I changed it. Oil seems to be good quality. I also changed the motor to pump coupling at the sametime.

    The original oil that came with my vacuum pump was ancient, as was the oil in my pump. Drained and replaced with this oil and pulled a solid vacuum for a fridge repair. Price was on par with other sources. Plenty left for the next time.
