2.0 de 5 estrellas GLASS CONTAINER!!!!!
It never crossed my mind that I was holding a one hundred dollar GLASS bottle of product!!I was on a ladder coating the roof of my RAM 1500 when the ladder jiggled, smashing my GLASS BOTTLE to the ground! No where does it say be careful it’s a GLASS BOTTLE!It’s been a very, very long time since I’ve seen anything automobile related contained in GLASS?I got about a third of the truck coated and now I’m waiting for the replacement to finish the job.I’m going to modify a thick foam can cooler to protect the new one and make some kind of holster for the ladder so this won’t happen again.I have 5 cars, two boats, over a dozen motorcycles and with all of that there isn’t another GLASS BOTTLE of anything (except beer in the fridge) in my garages?Considering the contents is so expensive a thick rubber cover on the bottle or at the very least a stern warning is in order.I am so disappointed with the packaging of this product that I can’t in good conscience recommend this to my friends, regardless of the quality of the coating. Most people just don’t have a hundred dollars to throw away and considering the environment it’s to be used in an accidental drop seems likely.I hope Adam’s responds with an explanation for this packaging and some kind of protector for this fragile container. If you choose to use this product be warned that it comes in a GLASS BOTTLE!!!

5.0 de 5 estrellas Check package immediately for missing components. Other than that claims are holding up so far
I’m no stranger to ceramic coatings, have done this for my cars and client cars for a while now. I can say this stuff is very forgiving. apply in cross hatch method. wait 30 seconds. level with suede towel. buff excess with microfiber towel. bonus points, you can use it on plastics and glass unlike the advanced version. helps to deep clean and clay the care beforehand.Did my car first, ordered the UV kit but didn’t use the UV light. all went well, was expecting more glassy gloss tbh but overall will need a second coat as i always prefer this method anyways. bottle had 1/3 of coating left, will use it for heavy wear areas like front bumper and roof.Second kit came missing the graphene boost and microfiber suede towels. contacted amazon customer service, it was tedious as i was bounced across 4 reps to get it sorted. the kit has good value for money compared to other kits by chemical guys or other brands.if you are new to this and want to use it across the vehicle, buy this kit with or without UV. if you are looking to only coat the paint and have a bit more experience, get the advanced version.

5.0 de 5 estrellas I’m not a professional
I was a bit hesitant to to apply this product all over my new car. However, I took the risk and am happy I did. The car had less than 1,500 miles so I did not clay bar and polish. However, I was also not looking for perfection, only improvement. I washed and dried the car before applying the panel prep. It took about 2 hours for me to ceramic coat my entire car. I only did the driver’s window as a test because I was afraid the product would leave a film on glass. It is completely clear with minimal glare. I may do all the windows at a later date. TBD. I did not find the UV light overly helpful and think it may be unnecessary. I still have 1/2 a bottle of product left so it could cover two small sedans. As someone who does not have professional detailing experience, I found the product easy to use though it would have been more complicated if I had opted to polish first. If you use this and make a mistake the worst that can happen is a high spot but you won’t ruin the finish so it’s worth trying.

3.0 de 5 estrellas Instructions?
The advertising for it said CLEAR application instructions…how about SOME instructions? I’m sure I can find a YouTube video on the application but I shouldn’t have to. All I got was the bottle flying around in a box.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Easy application – we’ll see how good it is
Bought this for $65 on a lightening deal. Applied it on my 22 F350 two days after picking up the truck. The DW saw no obvious swirls or scratches in the paint when we picked it up. I knew this was not Adams’ latest and greatest, but if it lasts 3-5 years, it will be worth it. Not my first coating and I know prep is important. I used the pressure washer and foam cannoned and rinsed – sprayed with Car Pro Iron-x, foamed and mit washed, rinsed, clayed, foamed, rinsed, dried and moved it into the garage. The clay glided over the whole truck so I knew the paint was clean and prepped. Mid 50’s temperature gave me a little extra time and I was able to apply a panel then apply to a second panel, before whiping down the first one. So application was pretty quick. As I was finishing up, I saw that I had used almost all of the bottle’s content. This is a supercab dually – a big vehicle. I think i may have enough left to do 4 wheels. Took it out of the garage the next day and it looks very good. Time will tell how it holds up.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Applied to 20′ Travel Trailer
The application was a lot easier than the prep, but it is a finicky product. I watched multiple videos about how to apply this product and how to correct your mistakes, and that was critical in my success. The overall process took about 10hrs for a 20′ x 10′ x 8′ travel trailer. The prep took the longest at about 7hrs. The trailer was new, but we had all of the factory stickers to take off plus we needed to make sure all of the extra silicone sealant “Strings” around the edges of the trailer were cleaned up. Prep was: wash exterior & roof from our first camping trip (4:1 mixture of Vinegar and Baby Shampoo), dry, de-sticker, and then finally use the included prep spray. Once this was done, applying the product was not too hard, but as the temperature changed throughout the day I had to quickly change how long I let it sit before wiping it off. I had to redo a lot of areas because it dried too fast and became too thick. Only time will tell how well it holds up, but so far, after about eight camping trips, all I’ve had to do is hose it down give it a light wash with no scrubbing. One time I only had to spray it down with water. The bugs spray off the fiberglass front without needing any scrubbing, which is really nice. So far halfway through our camping season, it has held up really well.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Amazing shine and water repellant.
Amazing shine as you can see in the pic and I use this truck as a real truck. Previously used SiO2 ceramic coating from another company that started to lose the luster after 2 years, which is not bad after being outside 100% through NEPA weather of heat and snow. Whole process took me 9 hours, but prep is key! Washed with Dawn, Adams Iron Remover, dried, sun baked to ensure dryness, clay barred, clear coat polished with orbital buffer, rinsed and dried again with sun bake, Adams prep from package, then finally applied coating. Took it out in rain 5 days later and was able to blow off the “dust” with a leaf blower the next morning, and was like it never moved. The truck is a 2017 with maximum steel paint. Hope this coating last the claimed 10 years so I don’t have to do this again. Only used 1/3 of the bottle on whole truck. The UV glow didn’t work for me but that could be my paint or the cheap “uv” light I was using. Make sure to put enough on applicator and apply in a cross pattern. If you put enough on the applicator you will see the wet layer spread evenly. Look for “rainbow” color to start shrinking then wipe lightly with the supplied rags. It will not feel slick right away like I was used to with the SiO2, but let it cure for the 24 hours they recommend and it works. My wife loved the smell of a candy grape while it was curing in the garage.

3.0 de 5 estrellas Only time will tell ….
This is my first time doing something other than a standard weekend wash and wax. My car is new (less than 3 months and only 1,200 miles) and the snowflake white paint is still off-the-lot new. First of all, the whole proper prepping stage before applying the ceramic coating is important; otherwise, you may be throwing away your money. Make no mistake, the prepping will take time and you MUST do it. In fact, I notice the amount of stuff on my clay bar (not huge, but definitely present) despite the age of the car. Maybe it sat outside on the dealer lot all the time.It hasn’t been 24 hours since I applied the ceramic graphene coat but the surface doesn’t appear shinier or wetter than before application. I not concerned that it isn’t shinier (it’s plenty shiny without the ceramic coating), I’m only concerned that It has a durable, long lasting protective layer. I’m familiar with graphene. Assuming the additive is real graphene, which is super expensive, not the graphene like substances, it should add toughness and durability. Even the near graphene materials should lend their protective properties to the coating. I’m not sure how graphene promotes a shinier surface, but again, my goal is to preserve the shine I have, not make it shinier, The whole bit about absorbing energy, reflecting light, making me smarter, handsomer, taller and lowering my handicap sounds like marketing phooey.I put two coats on a compact SUV and have about 10-20% left. I may have been too generous in my second coating application, but I don’t see how anybody can claim to have enough to coat 2 or 3 vehicles, unless they are small vehicles and/or they are applying single coatings.I haven’t tested the water beading ability yet. I did have a small drop of water on the coated paint and it looks really promising. As for long term protection and durability, only time will tell.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Works great!
I used these on my brand new wheels before i put them on my truck. I can already tell that this works way better than the other stuff I’ve used like CMX or chemical brothers. It’s worth every penny and it will repel dirt, water, and brake dust. Can’t wait to see how it holds up over the next 7-8 years. It sure added a shine to the wheels too, which is a bonus

5.0 de 5 estrellas Time consuming but well worth it
No se pudo cargar el archivo multimedia. One of the best ceramic coatings on the market, with all honesty the process takes quite a bit of laborious time, spent two days (close to 20 hours of work) in paint correction and application of the ceramic coating and it was well worth it. Do not buy this coating without the UV Light, this light helped me apply an even coating and ensured that there were no high spots across my whole car. Even after messing up the entire rear end (rookie mistakes and uneven applications) I was still left with about 1/3 of the ceramic coating left in the bottle and I applied this coating to every inch of my car, paint, windows, trim, wheels, calipers, literally everything. If you have the tools and patience for this job I definitely recommend you do it.

4.0 de 5 estrellas Purchased two kits and coated two vehicles
I really wanted to like this product. I liked the durability claims, ease of application marketing, and line of products to support the longevity of the coating. I had difficulty installing this coating perfectly the two times i did. I have and had a lot of streaks of high spots that I couldn’t see until it was to late. I am pretty obsessive over doing things perfectly, and I had difficulty. You definitely have to really have a lot of time to prep the vehicle,And work in small sections. Lighting is also extremely important. I had about 3 led hanging light bars and still was not able to see high spots. I can’t make a claim to the durability of the coating, but I can say it’s very hydrophobic. If I was to do this again, I would probably consider doing cquartz instead.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Easy application and great results!
Decided to do a full paint correction and ceramic coating on my 2019 crosstrek after 87k miles. The hardest part was the prep… the ceramic coating was easy to apply and was done in about 90 mins. It was about 70-75 degrees and was applied in a garage away from sunlight. The coating was removed after about 30-60 secs until “flashing” and I never had any problems with high spots. The few spots I had from accidental crossing over to another panel was easily removed with more product and a quick wipe even 30 mins after. Prep well and apply in shade, very easy and forgiving process. Photos posted are as is… no filter! Time will tell durability… I did one one coat and I’m hoping it’ll last a good several years

5.0 de 5 estrellas Looks good after application
Time will tell how it holds up, but so far I’m happy. Key is in the prep. I washed, clay barred, washed again before I touched this kit. It goes on easy, just take your time and be sure to get everything. I’m split on the UV flashlight. It didn’t help me much. Not sure if it was the paint on my Jeep or not, but the UV tracer didn’t seem to show up well. It actually showed up better after a day of curing. As I applied, I was doubtful it was doing anything. But after 24 hours, my Jeep looked noticeably better. There was enough in the kit to do a 4 door Wrangler, and I might have been able to do a 2nd.Crazy side effect, I don’t’ have to use my wipers. I can drive though rain storms now without turning my wipers on.It seems like a good product, but if I were to do it again, I’d probably save the money and skip the flashlight.

3.0 de 5 estrellas Leaked product in the box
One of the items leaked due to the cap was not tight enough and almost half of it was wasted during the transportation. Pages of the instructions pamphlet messed up and the box felt a bit soggy from the liquid.I gave 3 stars due to the delivery being on time and the other products being in good shape. I contacted the orders department from Adam’s and I’ll be updating this once I hear from Adam’s about the leaked product and after I use the it on my project.Delivery was on time even though we are closing the holidays.

5.0 de 5 estrellas 2 months in, worked great so far
At 1st I thought this product size isn’t going to be enough for one full car but product ended up being enough for 2 cars! First car brand new Tesla, worked perfectly. Water beads every week for 2 months now and stays cleaner longer (about 2 weeks instead of 1 week). 2cnd car Acura 11 years old made had similar results, made water bead better than before and blower made water come off with ease. IDK if this product claim of lasting 7 years is true, i’d be happy if lasts half that. Prep time and labor is just as bad as application. Tesla took me most of the day from start to finish and I was tired.

4.0 de 5 estrellas Seems durable, but difficult for a beginner
From my research, this is one of the best (most durable) DIY ceramic coatings out there. I followed the instructions to a TEE (some of it was a bit confusing), and while I’m happy with the results, it was very difficult to apply evenly. Each section I did you can sort of see the “lines” between sections. I tried various ways to avoid this and while most of it turned out ok, it’s not perfectly even. I’m no detailing expert but I’m also not a moron either. I tried this on my truck first before doing my “toy” car. I’m not sure if I should do my car now. Might try the wife’s car first for more practice. Overall it seems like great product, if I could only get it to apply evenly.

3.0 de 5 estrellas Be conservative in your cure time, prone to high spots
I’ve done ceramic coatings before on my other cars, using product from other vendors. I decided to go with this one because it was pretty much double the volume for the same price. After painstakingly decontaminating and correcting the paint, I set about applying the ceramic coat. Instruction say allow 30s-3mins to cure and flash before buffing it off for leveling. I recommend closer to 30s.This stuff flashes and cures MUCH faster than the other products I’ve used in the past. Accordingly, it’s very sensitive to high spots. I found a lot of high spots after application, despite buffing level. Adam’s coating is not very forgiving in this regard and I had to redo some panels by DA polishing the ceramic off. I tried applying more product to evenly get rid of the high spots, but that trick didnt work. That said, once you get it right you will be rewarded.

1. This product repels water extremely well and makes cleaning faster and easier. It does exactly what you want it to.2. The main problem is, it is very difficult to apply without high spots forming. I have now tried twice with the same bottle and I keep having to repair high spots.3. I would rather use a formulation that is wipe on and off in my personal opinion.4. This is just my individual opinion.

4.0 de 5 estrellas Good experience
First of all, I would like to note that this is my only experience with ceramic coating (let alone this is graphene).I had recently purchased a new (to me) vehicle an was talking to someone about ceramic coating. He informed me about this Adam’s Grahpene coating. When I done my research, it was when ceramic coating was new. This was YEARS ago. Reason why it took me so long to do something like this is because I felt my previous vehicle wasn’t worthy of my time anymore. Had the Lexus for 11 years before I finally purchase a new vehicle.I polished and wax my previous car before. So I have some experience with that step. It took me a total of two 12 hour days to complete my installation. Yes, that was a long time. But I washed, iron x, washed, clayed, washed, paint correction, washed again, Adam’s surface prep and then the final step of ceramic coating. Clay, by far was the most tedious. The actual step of ceramic coating wasn’t bad. It’s pretty fool proof if you follow directions. My car has this coating for about a month now. My honest opinion, the surface doesn’t seem as slick to my fingers than actual wax. The product beads like crazy! Which is a good thing. But after my first wash, I had to ring out my microfiber towel a lot more than my old vehicle without any kind of sealant. Maybe I misunderstood the whole 10-15 degrees of slide angle. I was expecting my vehicle to be nearly spotless. Maybe I’m asking too much. But as you can see in my pictures (sorry for the night shots), you see a bunch of tiny beads of water. I guess if it’s heavier rain, it would clump up more and fall off the service. I had a bird dropping on the rear window one day, I tried to clean it and it wasn’t easier to wipe off. In fact, it felt like it took longer than normal but thats just based on speculation as I do not have the same dropping on a non-coated surface. But it did require some elbow grease. I think after years of hearing about the hype of ceramic coating, I had high expectations. Reason for my purchase of this was the “7 year coating” that sold me. I made my purchase on a sale here on Amazon. Overall, I guess I’m happy but do wish for more.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Hope it lives up to the hype
The dealer wanted $850 to ceramic coat my wife’s new Maverick, however I preordered this kit knowing I would rather do I it myself and save. After two days of driving around in her new car, I decided now was the time to coat it. I prepared the paint accordingly and followed the instructions to a T.This was about as easy as it gets applying the ceramic coating to a new vehicle. The UV light did help me address areas I missed on the first pass and I used it for the whole job. I coated everything on the exterior of her Maverick except the wheels. I will do them in the near future when time permits.I recommend Adams Graphine Ceramic Coating Kit if you have the time and patience to do it right.I cannot comment on the longevity at this point but the finish is really slick as if nothing will stick to it.

1.0 de 5 estrellas Buyer Beware no Returns or Guarantees!!!
Detailers and home buyers beware the biggest issue is there is no guarantees or refunds even from a professional detail shop application unless the Graphene coating is applied directly from Adam’s! This was told to me by the representative when I called Adam’s he said they can look into it but no guarantees.Bought this UV Graphene ceramic Kit seeing all the good reviews and for the longevityNow does it work? yes it does create a ceramic coating. How good? The coating seemed decent but it did not look or feel as good as other brands my professional detail shop has applied for me before I should have just stuck with their recommendation for ceramic coating. Now here are the Issues I’m having with this coating.-1st The coating when initially applied before flashing looks good and even but once it starts flashing it starts streaking causing uneven High spots! (You can see from the pictures how it looks flashed after 3 minutes on the side mirror and how it looks on the hood)-The 2nd issue is they didnt provide proper instructions for application nowhere in their instructions on the pamphlet or even in their video do they say to set a timer for (2-3minutes)” I had the Adam’s representative tell me my professional detail shop was not following the right procedure to apply the coating so the coating is not actually applied thats why the UV is not showing up and they need to apply then set a timer for 2-3 minutes then when it’s tacky to wipe it off”Please mind this the streaking was not oil it was the graphene ceramic coating because the detail shop had to machine polish it to get off all the streaks and coating if it was not applied the streaks wouldn’t exist!I had the shop try again following the representative’s instructions to set a timer and wait for it to tack and guess what?SAME STREAKING ISSUE and NO UV SHOW!!!- 3rd issue well I dont really care if the UV shows or not because I’m not doing this myself at home I took it to a professional shop who done tons of ceramic coating and done them for me all this time with no issuses of any missed spots they have equipment and can tell where the coating has been applied. The weirdest thing was the coating in the bottle and before it fully flashes shows UV but once it coated my paint it did not show any UV it just didnt show anymore. The ceramic coating is surely there though I can see the difference in paint depth and gloss and also by feel by the slicker surface than just paint correction and the fact that the streaking and coating has to be removed by machine polish so I guarantee its there just no idea why it doesnt show UV when it becomes a ceramic coating on my car paint. I actually got mad and tried the coating on my old bicycle and the funny part was it shows UV on my bicycle paint but the 2 times I had it applied (improperly due to instructions and properly due to representative’s verbal instructions) The UV did not show up on my car’s paint. So I have no idea what’s going on with the UV but if thats a feature you need from this coating think twice before buying.Durability: It is a real ceramic coating thats for sure did not come off unless machine polished can’t say for how long but it worked decent enough. I rather have a coating that only last a year than a coating that last 5-7 years and looks horrible from streaks everywhere! So I had to get charged labor 2x for applying and then having to remove the coating from my vehicle and can’t get any sort of refund for this graphene ceramic coating at all.Now I got to spend more to just go with the shops recommended ceramic coating non graphene! To me lesson learned the hard way from buying online and not just going with shop recommendation. So Save yourself Money, Time, and headaches beware of this product and that they wont stand behind their product for any refunds they will just blame you or your professional installer! So just go to a professional detail shop and have their recommended coating instead!

5.0 de 5 estrellas UV Light was a Big Help for this Novice
I used a bit less than half of the bottle to treat just the painted surfaces on my Tesla Model Y. The company’s videos were a great help in preparing to use this. Working in a garage with only some lights on, the UV flashlight really helped me to see not just where I had/had not applied the coating, but also how evenly I was applying it. Very happy with the product and the provided supplies. I have enough left that I plan to treat my other car in the spring. I will be very happy to not have to wax my cars repeatedly now. (Based on what I learned from multiple videos on ceramic coatings, I spent half a day prepping my car – first washing, then removing the existing wax, then removing tar spots, then washing the car again.)

4.0 de 5 estrellas NOT THE SLICKEST
Good product considering all windows, running boards and glass was covered. That being said if you’re looking off slick paint. This will not do that. Still grabbing after two final buffs. Impressed with coverage and ease of use. Will let it cure. Can not attest to product claim as of note since it’s in the curing stage right now. My provides truck i used admarial king. This has better coverage but are the same buffing once product has flashed. The light, i found was gimmicky unless you’ve never used a product like this before. That being said, it does not show up well on lighter colors. I have a silver truck and I had a hard time finding the UV light useful.

3.0 de 5 estrellas Not worth the price point at all
Very disappointed in this order/product. First of all either this was a used return, or someone at one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers used this (it was FBA). The most expensive fluid in the box was open, as it had been leaking for quite sometime in the box, leaving a corrosion like residue all over everything, much of the product was wasted, and the UV flashlight doesn’t work, I thought, more on that later. I contacted Adam’s and they had great service BTW. I sent them one email explaining what I received and that the UV light doesn’t work. No, BS, no hassle, no drama, they automatically sent me another bottle of the ceramic coating and another UV light, which was received in a couple days. The core product works great, the cleaner /prep spray works great the ceramic coating is great from what I can tell so far, and the ceramic “booster” works better than the meguiars ceramic detailer. We’re they fall short is that the bottles of the prep spray and booster are way too small for the price, its bad enough that the ceramic coating is barely enough to finish a full car, and, back to the UV light, turns it out does work kinda I guess, you have to turn it on, and then set it aside and forget about it, I mean really forget about it, and maybe about 2-3 hours later if you are lucky you’ll glance at it and it will be on, BARELY! That’s Both lights, including the brand new replacement from Adam’s. The light output is crap, now I know true UV doesn’t output much visible light at all, but we know this isn’t really a true UV product, and it’s not supposed to be, that said light light output was barely enough for me to actually see the difference in the coverage area, which is kind of the point of the light, which is gimmicky anyways if you ask me. Honestly, I was able to see it much better with a 10w COB LED with an RC car battery I had laying around and that cost $10. So for the price point at slightly over $100 they could have at least got the light right then you could have used it for other things. The actual product works well, but that’s it. I will definitely NOT purchase again, unless they get the light right AND lower the price point substantially. Not worth it.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Amazing shine and finish
I don’t even know what to say other than WOW! The end results are amazing, just check out the pictures. I mean, it wasn’t easy, but it was defiantly worth it. I did this to both of my vehicles. I just recently bought a truck, but I’m waiting for the weather to get warmer to apply the coating.Rain and snow do not stick to the coating. It beads up and flys off once you get going. Even the water at the car was doesn’t stick! Some tips for application:- be patient and work in small areas- take off the license plates before prepping the car- do a paint correction if you have any paint imperfections. (This took most of my time) It’ll help with the over all finish- be proud of your hard work in the end!

Time will tell about the rest of the product – but this specific kit with the UV light is useless. Literally zero difference between covered and uncovered areas.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Takes some work to apply but when done right it’s worth it.
The initial results of this product are very good. Follow instructions and watch some YouTube videos and you will get great results. Photo is a light rain 5 days after application.Unlike another reviewer I find the UV light to be helpful. If you apply the coating in a darker indoor place the UV light will show spots that have been missed. Use the light just after the coating is applied and before “leveling” with the cloths. Now it will be “how long does it last”…

5.0 de 5 estrellas I’m pleasantly surprised but their is a issue
After watching a lot of YouTube trying to find a ceramic coating for my car I came across a video showing off this product after seeing the ease of use an the length of protection I had to buy it. The prep has a pleasant grape scent, the graphene coating glowing under the high uv flashlight really helps get complete coverage especially when I only have 2 hours of shade before it’s to dark to work on a car, an my only gripe is the ceramic booster spray for after the graphene coating it leaves a terrible residue spotting that would not buff off after 4 attempts to try an buff it off I had no luck. But the car looks wet I could see a rainbow in my hood on a slight over cast day. It came out looking great. Can’t wait to see the water repellent effects when I take it for it’s first wash in a few week. The guys who work the car wash love the effect on my nissan an now my audi is the same way.

4.0 de 5 estrellas Pending update on actual longevity of coating
I cannot give this product full 5 stars since I have no clue the actual longevity of the coating. But I can review the ease of application and the packing.Applying it on a freshly cleaned car was a breeze and I didn’t even need half the bottle to coat my Tesla. Packing was great also as no damage was done to the product throughout shipping and arrival.Overall I can give this a solid 3.5 and round up to 4 stars.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Great ceramic coating
I recently used the Adam’s UV Graphene Ceramic Coating Kit on my car, and I’m blown away by the results. The kit was easy to use, with clear instructions and everything I needed included. The coating has already served its purpose by saving my paint after the wind sent a shopping cart into my car. Additionally, drying my car after washing it takes less than five minutes using a leaf blower. Overall, I’m thrilled with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality ceramic coating for their car.

2.0 de 5 estrellas Overpriced. comparable to 10 dollar spray wax
I did the proper wash, clay, iron removal, alcohol wipe down, buff, polish, alcohol wipe down, apply coating. In a garage. Let cure for a week before i moved it. Car is a new black honda. Has been applied about 3 months now. Now that i have that part out of the way here are the positives about it. Relatively easy to use. If you use a uv flashlight its impossible to miss spots. Its pretty hydrophobic as far as beeding. But the water just sits there and dosent roll off. More on that in a moment. I have pressure washed and hand washed many times and it dosent seem to have lost this quality. With that said. It is not very glossy at all. I have used car wash soap with some sort of wax in it that left an older car more glossy than this. Like i said it is hydrophibic but i have used 10 dollar products that are equaly hydrophobic. The bottle arrived leaky. The towels that came in the kit were super linty. Im honestly disapointed in the product for the price. If i paid maybe 20 dollars i would be ok with it. It honestly performs comperable to the turtle wax spray ceramic coating. If i could do it again i would have just saved my money and used that stuff. Over all i dont feel it damaged or ruined my car. It has a underwhelming hydrophobic quality. Almost no gloss factor at all. Would not recommend. Extremely over priced. Poor packaging/leaks. Comperable to 10 dollar products. Spend your money with another product. I wish i could get my money back.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Easily Remove Streaks With Polish
This was the first time I used a ceramic coating and I made the mistake of letting it completely dry before buffing the high spots. I ended up with a ton of streaks (high spots) that would not buff off. It was scary. I tried reapplying to remove the streaks but it was extremely slow. I tried meguiar’s car polish on the streaks, no problem. The polish appears to leave plenty of the ceramic coating intact after the streaks disappear. I would have included photos but I already finished my entire truck. I plan to use this product in combination with mequiar’s car polish in the future.

3.0 de 5 estrellas Extremely hard to work with and quick to dry. Instructions are meh…
When you’re working on this stuff at 89F, it’s pretty hard to properly coat the surface evenly. It dries so fast and by the time you finish the panel on the second pass, everything starts to dry. Don’t get me wrong, ceramic coatings are far easier because they dry a lot slower under the same conditions.I’ll put an update on the coating quality when it cures and harden–that’s when you see coatings start to show.Instructions are almost the same as I’d expect from detailing pamphlets. However, the microfiber towels included works better than the swede towels that keeps sliding off my gloves. That and the swede doesn’t clear the coating fast enough before it dries. In the end, I just used the swede towels for surface prep and microfiber for coating. It clears out the lint from microfiber towels.Update 6/11/21: The smoothness of this product pales in comparison to ceramic coating. It is a bit harder to wash as well. The only benefit is that the uncolored trims actually holds it’s color well–a sign that the coating is still working.

5.0 de 5 estrellas The shine you get after 24 hour cure time
I really like how easy this was to apply and takeoff the vehicle. It was very self-explanatory reading the directions. It takes time and effort to lay it down properly. But at the end of the project it looks phenomenal. I use this on my personal vehicle. The photo with the guard rail in the background was after a cure 24 hours. The other photo is right after it was completed.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Great, easy to use. Don’t get UV tracer if you have white paint.
No se pudo cargar el archivo multimedia. This is my first time applying a ceramic coating to my car. After following all of the procedures, I finished applying the ceramic to my entire car (plastic trims, headlights, windows, paint, etc) in about 3-4 hours. This could be because I am a beginner when it comes to ceramic coatings. My car paint has an amazing mirror finish and the kit comes with 2 of each towels, the bottle, a UV tracer, 2 applicator pads, surface (IPA) prep, and a ceramic booster. Great product and very easy to use.I will put a disclaimer that if you have a white car, don’t bother getting the Kit that comes with the UV tracer. It was pretty much impossible to see the spots you went over and didn’t go over on my white paint.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Time consuming but the results are worth it
I’ve had this on my car for about a month now. I park the car outside and every morning I get a fair bit of fog that leaves condensation all over the top of the car. I can start driving and it will knock off water droplets, I watch my hood start collecting bigger puddles and watch them drop off when I brake. Going to wash the car, the water just falls off the side.Application is pretty easy, just cross hatch patterns and work like half a panel at a time. The toughest part of this application is all the prep but it’s well worth it. Works better if you’ve just gotten a car and the dealer has detailed the car already, let someone else do the clay bar step, easily the hardest step especially if you’ve got a big vehicle.

4.0 de 5 estrellas Beautiful shine but beware
This product is far to technique dependent. If it gets ahead of you at all, you get streaks. Beautiful shine with streaks is not what I was after.Fast forward a couple of weeks……………Today I worked on about a 1.5 sq ft area with some Adams polish and the results were quite a surprise. Streaking and dark spots worked out quite easily.Fast forward a couple more weeks……………Tried to re-coat the areas that I had rubbed out with the Adams polish. Even though I was quite careful to not let the areas dry out, it once again streaked and this time it’s worse.

1.0 de 5 estrellas Support is unhelpful
I expected this to come with an applicator because there are answers in the questions saying it does. I applied it to my car with another pad I have, although it could be inferior in quality. I did not want to wait another week or more and pay for shipping just to be able to apply this when I had already prepped my car in advance. After the application there were lots of high spots on certain areas. I believe this is mostly due to not having provides any instructions or tips. I watched another person apply the product on YouTube but it may have been misleading. Adam’s has tutorials for applying the spray only, not the actual liquid. I didn’t plan on leaving a poor review until I contacted them and suggested they leave a piece of paper with application tips, since this product can ruin a nice paint job, and I suggested they specifically state in the product title that it does not include an applicator. Their response was extremely rude. They told me to check their website next time and buy an applicator. They rejected everything I said and essentially made it entirely my fault, despite them having a professional application and a novice application product. They also stated that there’s instructions on the bottle, but there literally is not. This is misleading, as I’m not a novice yet I still got smudges on my brand new car. For this reason, in giving 1 star because the support lacks sympathy and does not provide any real help. They only retroactively tell you what you SHOULD have done. I will also submit a return after using half the bottle because it obviously did not meet the expectations they guaranteed and I’m not giving my money to a company that is not going to help me resolve the problem their product caused. I think I’ll go with Chemical Guys next time.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Great ceramic coat that is simple to apply and cheap.
I ceramic coated my brand new Tesla Model Y and it only took me about 2 and a half hours. I still have half the bottle left. Much cheaper than the $2,000 most shops want. I did my own paint correction with a buffer. When a car is brand spanking new there isn’t much correction. My Y is black.

It’s too early to tell durability but right after applying, it looks great and feels very smooth. I just applied it yesterday so it’s now in the garage still curing. Only time will tell if it lasts but it does make the truck look brand new. 20,000 miles on this 2021 Sierra and it looks better than when I brought it home.

5.0 de 5 estrellas The bees knees
No se pudo cargar el archivo multimedia. I absolutely love this product. I own a detail shop and have been using this Graphene a TON over the past few months (roughly 40 coatings) and my customers love it. Make sure you follow the instructions and you’ll be fine.Hint 1- throw away the Adams applicator and buy a microfiber one from Autofibre or equivalent.Hint 2- you can never wipe down with the prep spray too much. Wax and silicone are what cause issues with this product. If you’ve already got hours and hours in, why not spend another ten minutes and wipe one more time before coatingWhen used properly this stuff holds up great. The maintenance washes are simple, and every time you drive through a car wash (BRUSHLESS!!!!) it looks like it’s been freshly waxed.

I was skeptical especially about the ease of application, but I watched many videos and reviews. I did my own paint correction did not turn out perfect but good for a black car. 5.0 de 5 estrellas Amazing product
I actually find this easier to use than the Boost. One must be meticulous is cleaning the surface, then wipe with alcohol. But the actual product is easy to apply. It not critical when to do the leveling: if you’re a little early you can tell by how it feels – then be very gentle. If you late there will be only a little grab and you can be more aggressive. But really, I’ve never been troubled by high spots. And the liquid bottle leaves a much thicker, more durable coating. And a little bottle lasts forever. I did my new Tesla Model Y, and my kitchen and bathroom and still have some left. It makes my appliances look better than new and are so much easier to clean. My kitchen now looks as great as my car. It allows water in my sink to drain away easier leaving less water, and thus fewer water spots when it dries. I applied it to half my kitchen cleaver and after washing it and giving it a shake, the treated side is basically dry while the untreated steel has a film of water on it. I have a brass table top which I polished, buffed and coated. Now it’s like a mirror and protected from any chemical of spill. This stuff is like goretex: invented for one application, but then expanded to become a major brand. If Adams was imaginative and ambitious they could be the first to open up huge new markets. Ohh, maybe I’ll do my golf clubs next…

5.0 de 5 estrellas Watch the instruction videos and it’s a perfect product
This product is absolutely amazing when you follow the necessary steps, properly prepare your auto and take your time to do everything right. Before starting, I watched the video, but it’s long and I’m impatient, so I kinda breezed through it. Don’t breeze through it…watch it all and pay attention. Especially to the part where you do SMALL sections at a time and wipe away the excess as soon as it rainbows or flashes…that’s only 30 seconds to 1 1/2 minutes. Do not leave it on longer than that or you’ll have to start over again.I carefully washed my car, clay barred it, etc. to ensure the surface was clean, dry and ready for application. I got this part right. The first time I shook the bottle (it says to shake well before using, and you’ll see that the graphene powder falls to the bottom of the bottle if you don’t) I didn’t realize the cap was loose. Two giant drops of product were flung onto my car: one on the driver’s window and door, one on the rear driver’s door. I didn’t think anything about it and didn’t even notice it caused a problem until I saw the car out in sunlight. If I had more carefully paid attention to the Adams videos on YouTube telling how to apply this product, I would have immediately buffed it off those spots. Because this product is so long lasting, those drips were destined to be on my car for years (see photo).I called and Adam advised that I’d need to use compound to get down to the paint and re-do those areas in order to get those drips out. I spent all day yesterday doing that and my car now looks amazing.OK, so the above is a great cautionary tale, now let’s talk about what happens when you do it right:My car is now a deep glossy black. And when water hits it, it doesn’t just fall off, it practically jumps off. If this product lasts even half as long as advertised, I’m absolutely thrilled with it. And it isn’t hard at all to apply, it’s just important to apply (and remove) it correctly. It is expensive, but when you think about how much you pay for wax or other products and you figure in your time applying it every year or twice a year, it really should work out to be pretty economical.A little shoutout regarding their customer service: My bottle arrived with a loose top. About 1/3 of the product had leaked out. I contacted Adams and they replaced it. When they sent the replacement, I notice they’ve changed the top all together, so I think that should prevent it from coming loose in transit. Because of this and the assistance Adam gave me on the phone about how to fix the drip issue, I give them absolutely top grades for customer service.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Nice DIY coating
I purchased this kit for 1 year old Tesla Model Y and had a pleasant experience with it.Prep: Washed car with Adam’s wax remover car wash (strip wash) x 2 times, used Adams iron remover and a clay cloth, used Meguiar’s M205 with a DA Polisher to take away Car Guys hybrid wax sealant (lesson learnt: from now on, I will ceramic coat a car when purchased and not wait a year, in order to skip this laborious step! – tip: you can stop here and carry over with the next steps into the next day to avoid being too tired) – then used surface prep provided within the kit. Followed the instructions and started ceramic coating process.Pros:1. Easy to apply, I am a novice and had no issues with overall process. A professional job costs upwards of $1700 so I really wanted to do a DIY coating project in order to save money. YouTube tutorials really helped.2. Extremely hydrophobic, highly allergic to water! washed car after 10 days of application – the water just ran off the back of car and side panels, seemed there was no water on them at all. Rest of car had water beads.3. Reasonably priced4. Left a dark, rich finish on tires and black plastic trim on outside of the car, along with a coat of protection.5. Had ordered an extra kit, just in case. It was enough to do a second car – 11 year old Corolla – pics uploaded..Cons:1. There is no way you can apply the coating liquid evenly. Hence some areas within 3×3 ft patch will be ready to wipe sooner than other areas. Coating does not dry evenly, so it takes some time to know the behavior of the coating. I had to take off the product in time, so as not to leave high spots. Hence, I thought some areas, which appeared wetter, would have lost their coat while wiping off. This is not so, the coating is still there. But still, since I had ordered an extra kit (just in case…) I went ahead and coated the car once again about 2 hours after initial coat. This is not recommended by manufacturer, but eventually it left me with a thick coat of protection and did not cause any issues with the shine and finishing. I just wish this product dried more evenly…. especially so as not to cause anxiety in first timers like me!2. [not sure if this is exactly a con] Will not leave a shine like like a wax polish does (but does leave a darn good shine though!), and the coat is not as smooth to touch as a wax polish. To counter this, I applied the supplied ceramic boost after 10 days of curing and continued with Adams graphene detail spray after washes.Overall good experience. I just want to be done with the ceramic coating process, hope with the detail spray application, this indeed last for 7 years as the manufacturer claims. I just wanted to be done with one coating process until I sell the car 6-7 years from now, hence chose this product. Hopefully everything will work out!

4.0 de 5 estrellas GOOD, BUT THIS REVIEW WILL SAVE YOU HEARTBREAK!
I am generally a huge fan of Adam’s products, but this is one that you should tread lightly with. There are extreme repercussions of using this DIY if you don’t heed this warning about use on trim:Basically, Adam’s set a ton of people up for failure by indicating in the original documentation (and in videos STILL ON YOUTUBE) that you do not need to level out the coating when applied to plastic trim. By “level out” I mean wipe excess off with a towel quickly after applying. The horror stories about this product turning plastics white and milky are from people who didn’t level the coating or waited too long. NOT THEIR FAULT as Adam’s said you didn’t have to.If you intend to use this on trim (which I don’t recommend), you must IMMEDIATELY wipe off the excess thoroughly after applying. Do not let it flash, you won’t see it rainbow. Just wipe it right off and don’t be shy. Do several passes with a clean towel. If you ignore this advice, I have made a sample of what will happen:I applied and leveled it on one side of an old mirror cap, on the other side I did not level it. Initially, you’d say the unleveled coating looks better. More gloss to be sure. Unfortunately the minute you wash it, touch it, or it gets rained on, the excess coating turns white and looks horrible. That’s why sometimes the bad results reported here don’t turn up until days later. Look at the (fully cured) unleveled coating after simply touching it with a microfiber. It’s a nasty white stain. One that is almost impossible to fix. Easy Off oven cleaner seemed to get some of it off, but this is very harsh and aggressive and should not be done. In short, DO NOT USE THIS ON TRIM. If you must, wipe it off right away and leave no excess. On paint, it does do a good job. Obviously the surface needs to be prepped and the coating needs to be leveled properly. But I am updating this review after one year of salt, touchless washes and sun…the paint is still super slick and hydrophobic. Holding up awesome!

5.0 de 5 estrellas Car looks awesome–I just hope it lasts!
I recently got a new Ford Mustang Mach-E in red. Red wasn’t my first-choice color, but I wasn’t a fan of any of the other offerings. In my experience, deep reds, like this one, take a lot of work to keep looking good. Hence my reasoning for wanting a high-quality ceramic coating. Plus, living in the Pacific Northwest, the car will see a lot of rain and I wanted to prevent water spotting as much as possible. I opted for the Graphene variant as it’s marketed to be more hydrophobic than the standard ceramic coat.Since the car is only a few months old, I wasn’t too concerned about damage and contamination. I washed my car like usual with my fav Chemical Guys soap and rinsed thoroughly. Before drying the car, I went around it with Adam’s Clay mitt and detail spray. This was definitely the faster way to claying your car, and since the car is new I wasn’t concerned about missing much vs. a traditional clay bar. After drying the car, and waiting overnight, I used Meguiars Ultimate Polish over all the painted surfaces and plastics (door sill areas). After removing the polish, I sprayed the car down is stripping agent. The TLDR version of this: It’s a lot of prep work, and it took me two days.I finally got to a place where I could apply the Adam Graphene Coat. I used the Adam’s Microfiber applicators, applied a few drops and got to work. After watching tons of videos about the application, I was kind of surprised at how fast it was drying–literally just about 30 seconds–and that’s in the middle of a high-humidity day, too. After doing some online scouring, I came to the conclusion that I wasn’t using enough of the liquid. So, I started using 5 or 6 drops per section instead of the 2 or 3 drops. Now we’re getting somewhere! It took about 5 minutes, but the surface started to get a bit tacky and hazy. Perfect! For those wondering, the red color of the car made seeing any rainbow effect really difficult, and that’s why I had to wait until the texture changed. Once sticky, I would buff it off and BOOM! It left a brilliantly clear shine on my car.So far, I’ve been really impressed when out in the rain. The water will still pool in droplets, but they just don’t adhere to the paint as well. This means that once you’re up to 10mph, the water just falls off. By the time I pull my car into the garage, it’s almost 90% dry. It’s crazy. And two weeks in, the car still looks like I just washed it, despite being in the rain probably 5 or 6 days now. It’s crazy! Now, what will really determine the worth of the Graphene coating will be the longevity. If I have to redo the process in a year, I’m not sure I’ll be thrilled. But if I can get 2 or 3 rainy seasons out of it, I’ll be really happy. But for now, definite 5 stars!

5.0 de 5 estrellas Repels water like no traditional wax I have ever used.
I applied this ceramic coating 3 weeks ago, and it took until today for it to rain. I left my workplace to find it looking like this. Application was a little difficult, but after the third panel, it got easier, especially if you use the UV light provided in the kit as you go. If you screw it up, they have a video on YouTube explaining how to correct it. You need to have some easily obtainable products and equipment, but once you do, it’s easy. Probably only have to worry about it if you have a dark color car (mine is black). Professional application of a product like this can be very expensive (think $1000+). With some patience and willingness to DIY, you’ll save a ton of money. Longevity is still a question mark, but even the best carnauba wax will maybe last a year. Anything longer than that is a huge plus for me, but they claim 7+ years for this product…

I applied this on my new truck 1 year ago and the water is still beading off my paint, glass and plastic just as well as it did the first week. Truly impressed. Bird poop, etc., don’t stick or leave residue and the truck is so much easier to clean. In a world where a lot of things don’t live up to the hype, this stuff does. highly recommend.
