    It takes a little while for it to set in and just kind of numbs a little bit deep down. I have nerve pain similar to sciatica going down my leg. It doesn’t really last that long maybe a little more than a half an hour but that’s all the time I need to unload a semi at each of my stops. I hope I don’t become immune to it. Can’t help you out with the smell. I can’t smell anything since my second covid shot.

    I love this because it is easy to use and convenient to use. I use it every night and each morning to apply to my right knee that I have arthritis in. I have also used it on my back. You never have to touch the stuff with your hands because of the soft roller applicator.

    People buy you product for pain, arthritis, stiffness…. Just being old. You guys have to put on the most horrible cap with those press in sides. It’s doesn’t work. 4 people tried. We had to get pliers!! Not good!!

    I am not only elderly but have bad arthritis and could not open the cap .My husband tried to open with no success until he took a plyers to open it and broke it so it can lay on top of roll on. I understand childproof and usually my husband opens meds for me but this was a struggle for him too. Can not purchase this product in future because of your caps.

    I agree with other customers about the cap. I, too, have arthritis and can hardly get it open. It needs to be redesigned without the child proof access issue. I have even had people without arthritis, struggle to get the cap off. The only workaround for that is to leave the cab unlocked once you do get it open. The product itself is very good, but the cap needs to be redesigned.

    This is very easy to use because it is a roll on and you don’t have to touch the creme. I like the lavender scented one the best, It works as good as the unscented but the lavender scent is a plus because it is pleasant and calming. For me, this needs to be used once or twice a day to work. Sadly, my foot pain never goes away unless I use this stuff at least once a day. It does not totally eliminate the pain but it helps. A little goes a long way and the bottle lasts me a long time.

    Good product, the cap is impossible to remove. One must have very strong fingers to squeeze on both sides of the cap and then twist. My 195 lb. husband has to do this every time I want to use it. Do not recommend if you have arthritis in your hands.

    OK, riddle me this: When you design a container for an excellent topical pain relief cream, do you make the cap easy for someone with joint pain to open, being sure that KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN is prominently displayed all over the package? Or do you just make the cap so hard to open that even the average adult has to struggle with it? Well, apparently the Sanofi design team opted for that second approach — so, paradoxically, someone with severe wrist pain wouldn’t be able to remove the Aspercreme cap without first applying the Aspercreme that they couldn’t get to without removing the Aspercreme cap… huh??? Fortunately, with lots of effort, I do manage to open the cap each time my husband needs Aspercreme applied to his painful wrist joints — since due to the senseless design of that ‘child-proof’ (more like ‘anyone-proof’) cap, there’s no way someone with that kind of pain could open it themselves. Bottom line, Max Strength Aspercreme roll-on works well to relieve pain — but Sanofi really needs to rethink the design of that cap.
