    First of all, I never saw the production of this peanut oil. So I am not sure if it is really cold pressed or refined from other sources, so the seller should always tell the truth. I can only judge from the taste. I think this peanut oil is pretty good!

    Natural and unprocessed peanut oil – very hard to find since all peanut oil from US manufacturers is now filtered and deodorized. Wonderful color and pleasant aroma of fresh raw peanuts. Works well for cooking as well as salads. Love this oil, it is now on my list of kitchen staples.

    I’ve ordered this twice and both times received top quality groundnut oil. The flavor surprised me at first as it is lighter than the US organic peanut oil I use to be able to buy. Works great in Thai and Indian dishes.

    I bought this peanut oil to use with stir fry cooking as peanut oil can take the higher heat. This oil has a nice texture and works well. This is second time I have purchased.

    I should have paid attention to the bad reviews on this one. It does not smell like any peanut oil I’ve ever used. I question that it even is – as I used the last bit of oil from another unrefined peanut oil that I’ve been using to season my pan – and when I added this oil it began to smoke immediately when the little bit that was still on the pan from before was just fine. I can’t imagine using this for anything where you’d want to impart a nutty flavor as this surely won’t.

    This oil tasted like dirt. We live in peanut country, Georgia, USA. We know peanuts. This oil taste like peanuts smell when they are molded & dirty. We poured it down the sink. I am so upset that they marketed this as organic, I do not know what they used as fertilizer, human excrement? Do not purchase this. I bought this because what I bought before is no longer available. The fact that this is an Amazon Fav is crazy to me.

    The copy for this product did not indicate that it was packaged in plastic. For an oil like this, I would never buy it in a plastic bottle, especially plastic manufactured in another country. Plastic particles, including polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which is used to make many bottles. It is “Compact by Design” to save space on packaging, in other words, glass would need to be cushioned whereas plastic can be thrown around in boxes and trucks. I wanted to return this item but no return is permitted. The long-term accumulation of plastic particles in the body could lead to liver disease, metabolic problems, and chronic pulmonary disorders. I do not eat or drink anything in plastic. UPDATE; I tasted it last night and it does not have a good full flavor, and it has a weird aftertaste, like you would expect dirt to taste.

    You buy cold pressed oil so that you can taste the nutty flavor. Daana feels like a refined oil, which means no taste, no flavor. You might as well use any vegetable oil and not pay this price. I had bought AIVA before and liked it much better. Amazon not carrying it anymore. Save your money and try a different cold pressed peanut oil.

    Very thin plastic bottle so a little warped. I opened it and it did not smell like peanut oil and this was advertised as organic unrefined so I don’t know where the great peanut smell went. The oil was also watery. I threw it out because I was afraid to use it. Sorry about that but maybe I got a bad batch.

    When we poured this Daana peanut oil into a pan, the smell was so rancid and foul that we immediately dumped it outside and thoroughly cleaned the pan. I have worked in a plant that reclaimed used vegetable oil and I have NEVER smelled anything so disgusting. The quality control at Daana must be nonexistent. Nobody should ever order anything from these people.

    This looks right, but it smells weird and flowery. When you cook with it, it smells even worse, and gives the food a foul smell and taste. I’ve used other peanut oils and none of them were like this. I have no idea what they did to it but I will hot be purchasing it again.

    I don’t like writing bad reviews. They get used as weapons to hurt businesses and products often just because a person didn’t know what they were buying or how to use it. If I’m out of line and cold pressed peanut oil is supposed to taste like wet lettuce juice, i will totally take this down.Since this peanut oil is non-returnable i’m inclined to warn people.. If you need peanut oil for a recipe, you aught to keep looking.still giving 3 stars cuz the product is what it’s supposed to be. It’s just that my family and I have been trying out chinese recipes lately, some of which are a fair bit of work, and we all agreed that using this oil for the sauce in our General Tso’s recipe would be. bad. a bad idea…Consensus: “wet lettuce”, “peanuts, but in a bad way”, “when my healthy vegan friend juiced lettuce for me and said it was good, but it wasn’t”.

    I read reviews on just about all of the Organic Peanut Oils available on Amazon. Everything from wrong ingredients listed, to foul smells or tastes. I took a chance on this one and I’m glad I did!It has a light fragrant smell of peanuts, is light gold in color, and if I can believe the label that it is unrefined, this is the best oil I could locate to use in my dishes. I am impressed with it all the way around and will be back for more, hoping to get this same product. Maybe the batches are different as commodities can be, but the bottle we got is perfect for our needs. Very happy with it!

    I’m pretty strong for a girl, but I can’t figure out how to open the d**g bottle. Must I wait until a son, brother, uncle, or cousin comes along to help me??? I’m not happy. I guess it’s a good thing to have the top on so top when it’s being delivered from point A to point B, but I’ll probably not get this one again for that reason along.EDIT: Amazon made it right.     Great stuff, this peanut oil retains its original flavor and character. Health benefits aside, I love cooking with cold pressed oils, adding them to stir fries and sautes, or just drizzling some on salad. This peanut oil adds aroma and contributes its own complex flavor to foods. At a recent holiday get together some of our guests (only used to processed oils – solvent extracted and chemically refined to be bland and uniform), were amazed at the difference just the choice of oil makes.I thought the only place one got cold pressed peanut oil was in the villages of India, certainly not something I’ve had a chance to eat in the last 20 years. Now it sits on my shelf, right beside the the virgin olive, and cold pressed coconut oils, and I have options :).

    The first important thing is to be able to open this oil bottle with some ease! I understand it needs to be safely sealed for any leakage, but this bottle cal is terribly sealed and it makes it impossible to open, same with the 34oz bottle, and has happened to me for the last 4 deliveries I have subscribed this product for! The oil as such is amazing and I love it, but I end up with lot of effort and sometimes give up opening the bottle, I literally have to cut open the cap with immense pain to be able to use this product!!! Please fix this on priority
