My Gyne doctor recommended this product for me stating it was the best for my immune system. I’ve been taking them for almost a yr now. The smell is horrible if you break open the capsule and add it to a drink, but that’s the price for good health! The price is a bit steep, but I will continue to buy.

I have been fighting an aggressive breast cancer which spreads tumors. One tumor spread from upper part of her chest to bottom of her stomach. It was expanding in width and I was able to beat the tumor back to an encased glob. I use AHCC AND GANODERMA MUSHROOMS, TOO. Every five hours I open an AHCC AND GANODERMA pill, mix w a few drops of water and spoon into her mouth. The Fungi Host Defense is added to her food. I open pill and mix two times a day. I started adding two pills 2x day because while I was on vacation and not aggressively treating, tumors started to grow again. I also use VITALITY SCIENCE’S cancer protocol. Careful of hormones in the meats and turkey..try and get food from a Health Food store or get Holistic vet involved. While feeding raw turkey… cat is on raw food diet, tumors grew. Hormones in food trigger growth. Without Host defense/AHCC/GANODERMA MUSHROOMS… CAT WOULD HAVE DIED. SHE IS LIVING TWO YEARS WITH AGGRESSIVE CANCER..VET SAID IT WAS UNHEARD OF. Her quality of life is excellent. The sad part is our vets and own doctors don’t care to know about how mushrooms interact to stop cancer growth. I call them magic because they have kept me from getting really sick for years. I have been using these mushrooms for over 7 years and while I may get sick I don’t get as sick as everyone else. My husband will come home with some bug or another and be sick for 2-4 weeks and I may feel slightly ill for 4-5 days if at all. My friend and I were both exposed to one of those bad respiratory bugs at the same time and she got sick for 2 months! I was sick for 1 week and no where near as bad as she was.This is a combo of all the 17 powerful immune booster mushrooms and they are grown in Washington state. I take 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening year round (because I believe a healthy immune system will also stop precancerous tumors). If someone is sick and I have been exposed to it I up the dose to 4 in the morning 4 in the evening for 4-5 days then 2 morning and evening for 4-5 days and back to 1 in morning and evening.They aren’t cheap to take year round but I don’t get flu shots and after all these years I have proven to myself that they really work.

I have an autoimmune disorder that has caused my IgA and IgE antibodies to disappear. My naturopath recommended a form of mushroom called AHCC. I knew AHCC is an acronym for a component extracted from the Shiitake mushroom, and through researching that mushroom I found out the world’s expert is located here in the U.S. His name is Paul Stamets. I emailed and asked why he didn’t have a product called AHCC, and he gave me the entire history of what that acronym means, and all the science behind the production and why he can’t call his product “AHCC”. Basically, he does more with a blend that is grown and manufactured in this country, which includes Turkey Tail. I’ve been taking this MyCommunity blend for about six months and caught only one cold when I let my guard down and didn’t wash my hands after being exposed to someone with a cold. I did catch the cold, but it was gone in 3 days and it never got bad enough to take cold medications. I was never that lucky, even before I came down with this autoimmune illness. After one dose of two pills I experienced violent stomach cramps that led to cold sweats and being on the toilet for some time.. I thought it was over and mistakenly left the house with my children for dinner. I couldn’t make it to the restaurant. I had to pull over and lay back in the seat and take my pants off for relief. It was scary. Cold sweat started again and I prayed it would pass so that I could drive us back home. I eventually made it home and the episode repeated. I was grateful to be home and not in public. This same episode repeated again yesterday exactly the same way which is how I figured out it was the mushrooms. My third and final dose..There is something very wrong with this product to cause this level of upset!! They also gave me an acne like rash on my face. I am not allergic to mushrooms but I believe these to contain mold. The worst part is, you can’t return them!!! So $33 down the drain!! I recommend getting something else, anything but this…

Diagnosed in 2010 with Lyme Disease and after antibiotics re-tested negative. (2018) tested positive for Lyme again. Over the years I’ve had declination in health and many symptoms that can be unknowingly be associated with Lyme. The lengths I go to maintain health via exercise, whole food diet, sleep, no drinking/smoking and health still failing was just odd. Consistent illnesses ranged from sinus infections to pneumonia and always extreme fatigue, joint & muscle issues, migraines, heart arrhythmia, depression, anxiety, gut issues, etcetera. I’m not into pill popping or doctors so I’d only go in when it was time for chest x-rays or antibiotics. Through friend advise I tried a few supplements such as berberine+milk thistle, CBD oil, Rhodiola, Jiagulan, Cat claw and holy basil. Have to admit the berberine helped with sinus infection, Jiagulan helped with respiratory, and CDB helped with joint pain but all only temporary and nothing helped with the fatigue or kept me from getting sick. While online I researched Lyme Disease extensively and learned mushrooms as a possible aid. What peaked interest is some of these mushrooms co-exist in the very environment the Lyme infested wood tick’s are!I’m here today to claim that 2 months of taking only this supplement along with healthy diet that ALL of my symptoms listed above are gone. I resistance train and beat the crap outta myself and haven’t gotten sick. Now I know there has also been a lot of prayer for me and maybe finding this is an answer but i’m impressed. 5 stars.

This stuff is Amazing. I gave this to an elderly friend who was going in and out of the hospital for lung issues and severe difficulty breathing. It was so bad, and he was on so many drug cocktails, that the doctors said they’d done all they can and he should go home. It was excruciating seeing him at the hospital thinking this could be our last encounter.I gave him a bottle of this the next time I saw him, and 3 weeks later when I saw him again he was a completely different person. He went from barely any energy on oxygen looking on death’s door, to being full of energy and going to the gym daily. When I asked him what happened, he said someone gave him “These Chinese herb pills and now he’s dramatically better.” Turns out the meds had him so out if whack that he didn’t remember me giving this to him.Seems pricey, but how much is avoiding a life of suffering worth? Fast forward 6 months later where he stopped taking it because he ran out and was struggling again with lung infections and called me to ask the name of these pills. I dropped off my pills and shipped him more from Amazon and he called me one week later to thank me and let me know he is doing a lot better.

I’ve been taking this daily for about a year. It was tough to say how well it worked because I never got sick. Enter cold/flu season. My family got not one but 2 gastrointestinal flu type bugs from family gatherings before the end of the year. Myself – nothing. Then we had 1 more get together in late January for his dad’s side of the family. Someone showed up to our house with influenza type A. Of course we all got that. Mine started with a migraine and then I was really sick maybe the next day where I was uncomfortable enough I had to take a 2nd dose of Nyquil when I woke up hacking. After that I only got better. My poor family was not as lucky. They have been sick for 5 days plus to include high fevers and tons of phlegm in their lungs. When I gave my husband the supplement he started feeling better, decided he didn’t need in the next day and his symptoms came back with a vengeance. Laid up on the couch in pain/misery with high temps and painful unproductive coughing. He’s back on it as of yesterday and was immediately able to sleep much better last night! This stuff REALLY works! I’ll never be without it.

New comment:12/28/2014: It has been one year and four months, I have not had any cold/flu etc., (knock on wood) if anything I caught from others, I got rid of it within 6 hours instead of 24 hours. I took 2 pills daily, sometimes I missed a day or two, but no problem. I swear that these pills really work, my body is very sensitive to medicine, these mushrooms pills not only works to boost immunity to fight cold/flu but causes no stomach ache or other discomfort what’s so ever. The pitiful thing is that my ex-boyfriend is too stubborn to believe Host Defense would work, thus, he had this cold for 2 months and couldn’t shake it, while I popped these pills in front of him so not to catch his flu/cold.A must have for people like me who catches every cold/flu/sinus infection from others. After taking this mushroom regiment since Aug 2013, I till catch cold from others, but I knocked out discomfort in 24 hours by increasing dosage. But prior to taking Host Defense, any little cold I caught would get seriously worsen and confine me in bed for 10 days with fever, painful swollen throat, missing work, no prescription from doctor’s can give any relief. I was unlucky and the Novel corona virus was something my wife and I caught back in March. I’m nearly 40yo, and have an average immune system and no medical conditions. And I was pretty darn sick, meaning… sicker than I’ve been in well over a decade or more. and it was hard to breath, pressure in my chest, massive fatigue, clammy, also had 101.6 temp and a friend recommended I try these mushroom supplements. Luckily that same day I ordered some overnight! Next day was still 101.8 and the bottle arrived… I’m so glad I found these. I took about 4 pills a day for 3 days and most of my symptoms were gone after two days. I took another two weeks at home to rest and stay isolated, however felt pretty good after just a couple days. These are effective with SARS and mers and should be effective against SARS-COV2 as well! Watch Paul Stamets on YouTube about his research on mushrooms and you will be amazed. And I believe everyone should consider researching these themselves. There are many sources to confirm how good these are. Yet, in some uncommon cases, some of these mushrooms can be unsafe for certain medical conditions, such as diabetes… so please don’t just take these without researching the mushrooms. Otherwise these are very safe for most people and their anti viral properties are unmatched. Also know thst covid causes inflammation of many things in the body and these mushrooms keep inflammation down significantly, preventing damage to your organs. I’m surprised these are not harder to get now, I plan to take these as my daily supplement @2 a day from this day forward. As I’m sold! Also my wife had a similar experience, these clearly are working. I’ve suffered with immune system problems for most of my life. It’s been said about me that all it takes to get me sick is for someone to sneeze in the next town over. When I first decided to try it, I had been dealing with a sinus infection that turned into bronchitis and had taken a full course of antibiotics. I am a very skeptical person by nature and so went into this with my eyes open….and was surprised to find that I started improving almost immediately. I took the 30 count over the course of 15 days, during which I noticed a marked difference in not only my symptoms, but my chronic pain as well! Believing it might be the Placebo Effect, I tried another 15 days without it. During that time, my son brought home a new strain of the flu, which I acquired immediately. Three days later, I was in bad enough shape that I figured I would just order a little early and start taking them anyway. My immune system wasn’t responding to the flu at all and I was incredibly sick, with my oxygen levels hovering in the mid 80s. Within 12 hours of taking my first capsule, my immune system kicked into overdrive and initiated the biggest mucus purge this side of Mucinex HQ. After several hours of rather forceful coughing, I got enough mucus out to bring my oxygen back to 99. My fever was gone on its own within 24 hours and I’ve felt consistent improvement every day. Not to mention, my chronic nerve pain has been better (usually worse when sick) and I have much more mental clarity than previously. I know people write all sorts of overhyped comments on these kinds of supplements, often in the way of “omg miracle drug! Can’t live without it!”… but for me this is nothing short of a miracle.I struggle constantly with getting sick— colds, flus, sore throats, allergies, runny nose, etc. On my trip to Seattle this Summer, I got horribly sick with a stomach flu… my throat was so sore that I could not speak.My mentor told me to take 10 (yes ten) of these pills, along with three teaspoons of black elderberry syrup, and within 45 minutes I felt almost completely healed. The reason I was able to take so many of these at once is because it contains relatively small concentrations of each mushroom.Nothing that the doctor has prescribed me, and nothing from the cold/flu section at the pharmacy, has ever come close to giving me the immune strength that this supplement does. It is indeed pricey, but in my opinion well worth the price; if I can avoid going to the doctor or missing work days then the cost is well justified.If you are taking this to boost your immune system, I also recommend Vitamin D3, Vitamin C, and black elderberry for a stronger immune system.

I love this product. It’s helping my overall health, cognitive abilities, memory and immunity are getting stronger. I’m grateful I saw Fantastic Fungi on Netflix which led me to seek mushroom supplements to help my brain heal after trauma.However I won’t be subscribing to this product any longer. I will buy it at the health store. The package I received today was crushed and there is no way to replace it apparently. Many capsules in the last two orders have been broken leaving powder everywhere This time the bottle was crushed along with the manufacture box and seal. It was delivered crushed at the top of the bottle and open. But the lid only has the sides of it. The top of the is missing and isn’t in the package. I don’t feel safe using the $52 product I ordered in this condition. Canceled my subscription. But I’ll buy it locally at a trusted health store.

It is a high quality product, but for people trying to treat or prevent cancer or other serious diseases with high doses of mushrooms, the formulation is problematic due to the cordyceps. It is too stimulating for high dose consumption.I am trying to find a replacement for a product RM10 that was my go-to for myself and my clients. It seems to be off the market, and while the quality of Host Defense is excellent, it just doesn’t suit my purpose. I can only tolerate abt 1 capsule per day bc the cordyceps is so activating.If the manufacturer is reading, I am a holistic physician and would love to see a similar formulation without cordyceps. I’ve been using this product for about 5 years. I start taking in in the late September and finish in April – May.I almost forgot what that means to be sick for days with cold or flu. If I get sick, it is a minor discomfort for one day with a bit higher than normal temperature. That is it. When I started using it, I lived in New York which is windy and extremely cold in winter. Also, because it is (was) so crowded, it was very easy to get something.I was so impressed with this product and the way it, literally, changed my life, so I offered it to my now husband about 4 years ago. His immune system was really really low. Living in LA, he used to get sick 4 times during a flu season. I mean how can you get sick 4 times in LA where temperature never goes below 60s? He was sceptical but he tried, and indeed he didn’t get sick that winter at all. He has been taking this product with no breaks since. Sometimes I tell him to take a 1-3 months break, not sure if he does though, he just takes it all the time. And he hasn’t been sick for the past 4 years. I think he married me because of that change I made in his life lol.Another person I recommended it to, was my mom who lives in Ukraine where the climate is even more severe than in New York. She has a lot of preexisting conditions such as high blood pressure, heart decease and others. Her immune system has always been low and she would get sick a lot all year around. SO, she started taking the mushrooms in September and finished in March and it was the first winter in her life when she didnt get sick. It was unbelievable, honestly, I was stunned by the result. She is on it as well. And when she runs out of it (there is none to buy in Ukraine), she takes 2 drops a day of organic Oregano Oil which is another magic wand I discovered (buy at Vitamin Shop or Whole Foods) if you are not allergic to it.Stay healthy all!

I am a 29 year old student and did not have health insurance for the fall and beginning of winter. I am usually quite healthy, but didn’t want to risk getting a cold or flu without having insurance. After looking for something other than vitamin C, D, and Zinc to boost my immune system, I saw the Fungi Perfecti product and thought I would give it a try. The extraordinary claims made in the TED talk by Paul Stamets, along with the incredible reviews for this product made it a “no brainer” for me to take this product despite its high cost.So here is what happened to me after taking this product. First let me mention, I have had benign heart palpitations in the past, but have been nearly 100% free of these for about a year after improving my diet, exercise, and taking a steady regime of CoQ10.I started taking these capsules at the beginning of November 2013. Like I said, I didn’t have health insurance, and wanted to boost my immune system. In addition, I was scheduled to go overseas for a wedding in mid November, and heard of people getting food poisoning and other illnesses while in this country. I started taking 2 capsules a day. For the first 3 days I didn’t notice anything except an increase in gas, which sounds funny, but was actually pretty annoying. I am well aware that supplements are to be taken long term and that you shouldn’t expect miracles overnight. I planned to take these mushrooms for a long period of time; years if I saw positive effects. However, after the first week, I started getting SEVERE heart palpitations. I really didn’t think to blame it on the mushrooms at first. I chalked it up to some nerves about my upcoming trip, and ignored them. I had full faith and confidence in this product and was actually excited to be taking them after watching that awesome TED talk. So I kept taking them. And the palpitations increased in intensity and number. Once during a workout on an elliptical, I had one that was so severe I had to get off the machine and sit down. It basically felt like my heart was jumping out of my chest. I would get light headed and a boost of adrenaline from the surprise of the palpitations, and would feel flushed and weak after.To make a long story short, I continued taking the capsules until the supply ran out. While taking the mushrooms, I never really thought to blame them for the palpitations. Throughout my trip overseas, I actually started taking 3 capsules a day to boost my immunity, and this is when the palpitations were through the roof. My entire trip was almost ruined because I was so on edge about these heart palpitations. In retrospect, I can’t believe I was foolish enough to continue talking the mushrooms, but honestly I had such faith in them, and after spending $50 on a jar, I didn’t want to abandon the product. Come mid December, I was nearly finished the bottle, and then something happened that I really didn’t expect: I got a horrible sinus infection. I was sick with a fever for about 4 days, and sick in total of almost 14 days. The very thing I was trying to prevent with these mushrooms, I got. And to top it off, I still had the heart palpitations. Needless to say, when my bottle was through, I didn’t order more.Since I stopped taking these mushrooms I haven’t had a single palpitation and haven’t been sick, and it’s been about 3 months now. Now all I take is Vitamin C, D, Zinc, CoQ10, and occasionally Magnesium. I would take these at your own risk. Not only did they do nothing to boost my immune system (I still got one of the worst sinus infections I’ve ever had), they actually caused me great distress and anxiety through constant heart palpitations. I can say without a doubt that this product caused those palpitations. They were like nothing I’ve ever had before in their intensity and regularity, and stopped within a week after taking the product.I suggest you take the extraordinary claims of Paul Stamets with a grain of salt. I realize I am only one person, and can’t discredit (nor do I want to) the research that has been done with these mushrooms. I hope this product works for you and helps you; especially if you are immune deficient or suffering from a serious illness. However, I can say without a doubt, that for ME personally, this product caused terrible side effects, and was a complete waste of money and cause of over a month of distress.

MYCELIUMMushroom supplement manufacturers use one of two different forms of mushrooms in their formula. The first type is the actual mushroom cap, and stem called the fruiting body. The second type is mycelium, and you should generally avoid it. If you think about a flower, mycelium is the root system, and the fruiting bodies are the actual flower part and stem, in this case, the mushroom caps and stems.Manufacturers who use mycelium will grow these roots on top of a grain substrate, mostly rice or oats. Once mycelium roots grow, the roots and substrate become intertwined and are impossible to separate. Formulas containing mycelium consist of about half roots and half filler in rice or oats. Some manufacturers chose to use mycelium because they can mass produce it as it only takes one week to mature.

This brand of supplements has in my opinion the most reliable mind behind it and the whole balance of mycelium and fruit body for the best results. Dosages are well considered for each individual item. I really appreciate the specifics and clarity of exactly what is in these! No “proprietary blend” cluster of mushroom and/or herbs. Which is truly a must when you are using these in a “stack” system for targeted health benefits. It’s an easy to swallow capsule and not even large with the 2 capsules that is the serving size! Gentle on the stomach and the overall benefits are incredible. It’s worth every cent. I’ve been using these for over a year. I also use other products from ‘Host Defense’ and I can feel the difference. These supplements are such high quality. I can feel assured and confident in them to be high quality and consistent. Great product just wish I could get a year supply for cheaper. These definitely helped me with motivation, sleep, staying clear headed and thinking more clearly. You probably wont notice right away but I promise after a week of taking them everyday you’ll notice a change. Not sure wants wrong with me but I’ve always had trouble keeping a good sleeping schedual these seemed to keep me on a almost perfect schedule sleeping about 7-8 hours at the same time every night waking right up in the morning. I never dream normally and I noticed I was dreaming almost every night. I tend to not have the best dreams so i don’t like that so much but I know it means I’m getting a good rest in full REM. As far as thinking more clearly I noticed just with talking with friends I had less anxiety and felt more relaxed and less likely to jump around in my conversations like I normally do. I stayed on track. Plus all the other benefits of these mushrooms. Absolutely love! As I said before I just with I could get more for cheaper but honestly the prices seem fair especially considering the benefits. Will definitely be buying more and happily giving my body and mind what they deserve. Thank you !

I did a month of My Community, then switched to Cordyceps from Host Defense. Of the two I prefer My Community. I have noted an adaptogenic effect, similar to that of the herb Rhodiola Rosea. That was noted, in the energy deliverance area. I didn’t quite shake the sinus symptoms with the two tablets a day, but wonder if indeed those symptoms would have been worse without.Like Rhodiola Rosea, I have to have food either with, or within a half hour of taking. That is not due to stomach issues, but rather the energy I get from this on an empty stomach, is just a surge too much at times. That however, didn’t hit till weeks had gone by… then I noticed it and made a note.. ah just like with the Rhodiola, which also helps my immune system. In fact, I do not take Rhodiola and this together. It is either one or the other, which is useful for rotation. Rotation is useful, for I use to take a required week off from the Rhodiola, without anything to fill that gap. Now instead of taking one week off, I simply hang onto the Rhodiola for demanding (hiking etc) days, or emotionally stressful days. The Rhodiola works better when it is not used more frequently. It is good to take a holiday from it.The Cordyceps didn’t quite give the stamina increase at higher altitude that I had looked forward to. I shall indeed try that again in the future to see if that too was a fluke. Until then I am giving that to my spouse, for the noted benefits of libido increase etc. (Update: The cordyceps formula in itself is not as agreeable to me as the My community. Has more of a zing of energy, vs a calmer energy. I would place it closer to Rhodiola in that less is more. The My community I can easily use without too much of a zing of energy. It is a very comfortable combo to take, but I take one at a time and time the next to be taken when I feel the lull in what the first provided. I even alternate by using one cordyceps in the am and a my community in early afternoon, but never two at the same time. I am petite (short) and slender, and very low blood pressure, so maybe that is a factor in my choice of how to use this.

I have not done the amount of research that I would like to about whether the amount of mushrooms ingested in the recommended serving of this product is adequate for significantly boosting the immune system, but I will say that as a “supplementnaut” (yes I may have just coined this term)something that I really like is the fact that this company has pictures of its grow rooms on its website and is run by an expert mycologist. Sometimes I think about how it seems a little dubious that a pill I am ingesting is in fact filled with what the label claims when it would seemingly require hundreds and hundreds of acres of the crop the substance comes from to supply the amounts of material that is filling all the pills across the country. Take Milk Thistle for example. The Milk Thistle supplement is made from the seeds that comes from the flower. A Milk Thistle seed typically contains approximately 4-6% silymarin ( sylymarin is one of the active ingredients in Milk Thistle, and many pills are often standardized to 80% sylmarin) and as such would require incredibly vast fields of Milk Thistle to produce the amount of seeds to produce what is currently on the market…I will admit that I do not know enough about how the labs make our supplements, but I would really like to see much more transparency and education on the plant sources and manufacturing process of supplements. All that being said, this factor again is one of the reasons why I like this product because of what information is available online about the company. As far as how it functioned, I will also say that I have not been sick in quite a while and managed to avoid getting sick when several of my co-workers got really sick recently. I have also been working as cashier lately and handle tons of cash and also eat at a cafeteria most days at work, both of which I would assume raise my risks of contracting a pathogen. But no sickness! So maybe this product does work! I bought a second bottle recently. Might as well go for optimal health! You likely won’t notice many changes from this supplement, and I think that’s the point. In the world of supplements, no news is good news. Otherwise it would be a medication and not a supplement.If you believe in the power of fungus and the genius of Paul Stamets, then this is absolutely worth a try. With several known beneficial ingredients, the worst outcome is no outcome, and the best outcome won’t be noticed. It’s a Pascal’s Wager situation, in a way.Please be aware, the recommended dose is 2 capsules a day, so a 30 capsule bottle is 15 days supply and a 60 capsule bottle is 30 days supply.I am going to continue taking this.

After 1 1/2 months of taking 2 capsules daily I started having daily arrhythmia, I was wondering if it was the mushrooms causing it so I stopped them and 2 days after stopping them the arrhythmia went aways completely and for good.So I just want to warn sensitive people to not take them daily or just take 1 capsule or not take them at all. Depends on each one of you.Besides that, I have no more observations or complaints.

I’ve never used a supplement that provided such a significant and tangible effect on my sense of well-being. I’ve also never used the monthly subscription buy option on Amazon, but this product is looking to change that. My energy, mood, -desire to get out of the house for physical and social activity have increased 1000 percent. I also noticed that my (junk) food cravings decreased, and I’ve been seeking out healthier options (veggies, fruit) . Fingers crossed that the changes last. I wish the price was lower, or that there was a cheaper bulk quantity, but if things keep going the way they are it’s money well spent. I have been taking this for over 1.5 years and have not had a cold since I started. I suffered from 3-4 bad colds per year (talking colds that knock you out for an entire weekend or make a work week miserable).I rarely write reviews on Amazon. But I started taking this product before an international flight in the middle of winter, after which I would spend several days in a crowded house of friends. I truly expected to immediately get sick as often happens for me with travel or staying in crowded spaces. Shocked! Not sick. Another international flight and busy travel schedule, no sickness.Got through a cold and flu season unscathed, another flight, not sick. All summer. Now back into cold and flu season; dinner with friends and family complaining of colds, shaking hands with clients sniffling and coughing in my office. Still not sick. In less than a week I have felt a massive energy surge, increase in positive thoughts/mood, and boost of cognitive function. That energy boost is nearly as much as I have had with pre-workout energy mixes, just without the crash in my experience.Other physical benefits I have noticed for myself are less fatigue and pain from long workouts and a faster recovery time.Immune benefits I can’t comment on since it’s been less than a week, although I do track my numbers with my doctor.Best bang for the buck is the powder, which is the only downside I can think of, cost.Overall this product is worth its weight in gold for myself for just the benefits I have mentioned so far.

Only draw back is that they are pricey. But you get what you pay for so will keep getting these. Ok…I am not the kind of person who really likes to endorse a vitamin with such gusto but I gotta say that these pills have literally SAVED ME this winter!I was introduced to these at my local Vitamin Shoppe by the salesman and wasn’t sure what to make of them. I thought they seemed extremely pricey and wasn’t really sure if I wanted to shell out the dough for a one month supply of “shrooms”. After the guy told me how amazing these were and how well they strengthened the immune system I couldn’t really help but give them a try. He was VERY vocal about how wonderful they were and I am an easy sale…so I bought them!These have kept me healthy ALL winter! I haven’t caught ONE cold or flu and I was exposed to several of them!!!!! Note: This is my second bottle. The first I bought it off the manufacturer’s website.I originally bought it because I get sick a lot and I thought this might help. I’m not really into supplements but I’m a big fan of Paul Stamets and thought I would give it a try. After a couple of weeks I noticed (and my husband did too) that I was more “chilled” than normal. Things that might upset me no longer were having the same impact. I felt more calm and laid back in general. I am not an anxious person and I’m not depressed, so these are subtle changes. But, I do feel better mentally. We’ve been trying to figure out what caused this change and all we can come up with is this supplement. So to this FWIW. I can’t prove it, I have no medical training, and I’m not recommending this as a cure. I’m just sharing my experience.
