It’ll take 3 months to know whether this Collagen Peptides powder really works but for now I just love the fact that it really has no taste. I can’t detect it at all in anything I put it in, from water to tea, hot chocolate, soup, etc. There’s no after taste either. I just love it and can’t wait to see results. Comes with a pre-measured spoon.

I read many reviews and was concerned that I might not be able to tolerate the taste. I am a pescatarian and really do not enjoy the taste or smell of beef, so was wondering if I would be able to gag this down. But I was pleasantly surprised that the taste is very mild and does not really taste like beef, maybe just a bit like glue, which makes sense since glue used to be made from animal hooves. (Glue, historically, is made from collagen taken from animal parts, particularly horse hooves and bones. In fact, the word “collagen” comes from the Greek kolla, meaning glue.) I mix a scoopful in 8 ounces of water, stir and take the whole thing down in two or three swallows. I will update this review when I see if it does anything for my hair and nails and skin.

This collagen does not have any taste and you can use in cold or hot drinks. My first order was odorless but my recent order definitely has a smell when you open the bag. It smells very bad in hot drinks.

I just started my 2nd bottle a week ago. Ever since they took my ovaries, my nails have been brittle and if I run into something my arm skin bruised and it looked like someone tried to fillet me. My nails are strong like they used to be and my arm skin doesn’t tear anymore at the slightest touch. I’m sure with continued use I’ll notice improvements in other things like joints & hair. Some folks said they had the problems swallowing the capsules, I take all 3 at once and haven’t had any issues. I was using a different brand which was either Type 1 or 3. Not sure but I didn’t see any improvment in skin, nails or hair so, based on ratings, thought I’d try this one as it provides all 4 types of collagen. I do not notice any taste when added to my morning coffee. Only issue I have with it is it doesn’t dissolve as well as the other collagen. I need to either whisk it or stir when adding to liquid. Otherwise happy with the purchase and higher price is offset by much smaller scoop. Haven’t been taking it long enough to see if it helps with my nails…. I’ll report back in a few months.

Purchased the flavorless collagen peptides. Read many reviews about this product and they were mixed regarding the flavor. I was hoping this would be flavorless, but it does indeed add a flavor. I have added this to protein shakes and plain black coffee, the flavor is obvious when I mix with black coffee. It’s not terrible, but it’s noticeable. If you are a coffee drinker but add cream/sugar, you will be more than fine and most likely won’t taste it. I haven’t seen benefits from this product yet as it’s only been a few days, so nothing to speak on there, but through my research this was noted as one of the best due to the ingredient profile and benefits, so with that, I still recommend this product.

This is good when you mix it with certain foods but not so good with others. I found the best combination was to mix it with Chobani no sugar coconut or cookies and cream yogurt and then top it with strawberries. A low calorie, high protein, healthy treat. Over time you do notice a difference, but it isn’t this overnight miracle cure. My fingernails always grew quickly and strong but now faster than ever. My hair has a shine to it.

UPDATE:Since I submitted the review below, Live Conscious reached out to me to offer me a refund of the products I purchased which I really appreciated and accepted. I never dreamed that they would even respond to my review let alone offer me a refund.As a result, I had to come back and update my review since Amazon wouldn’t let me delete it entirely.I have always liked Live Conscious collagen. I do highly recommend them, and I encourage people to purchase through their actual website instead of on Amazon. It appears that not only are Live Conscious products of high quality, but they also care about their customers and have excellent customer service. I am happy to be able to continue using their products as I did considerable research prior to originally purchasing them.It’s my own fault for not paying closer attention, but in my defense, on the Live Conscious website where I have only purchased them in the past, there is ONLY 1 size of these bags – 16 oz. However, on Amazon they have this 7.8 oz size. I thought, “oh what a great prime day deal” until I got it today and it is less than half the size of a regular bag.I am so angry and disappointed with Live Conscious. It feels like something they have done on purpose to try to trick people because of course they don’t allow you to return them. It never occurred to me that there would be any other size since they only offer the 16 oz on the website. This will be my last order of any Live Conscious product.

This review is basically key points since I have just started using it. I wanted to help out with some key points that could save frustration for those beginning to use this product. First off there is a scoop in the bag, but definitely buried in the fine poofy powder. So I just squeezed the bag from the sides and pushed the powder up and viola there was the scoop. I don’t recommend putting your hand in powder as it has a clingy effect. Second key piece of info is that the scoop according to the mfg. IS an 11g measurement so just fill ONE scoop level and blend into your choice of 8-12oz of hot or cold beverage. Speaking of scoop, if you did not receive said scoop, it is equivalent to 2 and 1/4 ROUNDED teaspoonsfull per mfg. I did measure to test and it was pretty close. As for the mixing of the powder, I recommend using a MINI drink mixer that most people would use for smoothies or protein drinks (if u have one) it just makes it easier to mix without clumps or use a whisk or spoon. The key to no clumps is to poor the powder into 8-12oz of your choice of hot or cold beverage A LITTLE AT A TIME. Mix throughly with whisk or blender between each time you add more powder. Trust me you do not want to try and drink this with clumps. Now for the taste, I mixed mine in 12oz of ice cold water (see pic) and it has very little flavor if any. I can taste only a SLIGHT flavor which reminds me of protein powders. But I mixed in water so I could tell if it was awful and it isn’t at all. If I mixed in juice or coffee or tea I’m sure I wouldn’t taste any of it. So 5 stars for taste. I’ve heard some collagen powders are awful. This isn’t. In the picture you will notice a slight yellow color, that is as yellow as it gets for 12oz. Less water I’m sure more yellow color. I had already had some so the volume you see in the bottle is not the 12oz I started with. I can definitely say I will have no problem drinking this. Another side note, some people said they didn’t get the full 41 servings that it states you should get, I have not reached a point yet to tell if this is accurate however I suggest that if you do buy this, keep a paper taped with the bag (like I am) to put a mark everyday you have some to see exactly how many servings you get so you will know how often to buy it if you continue. Speaking on this point, I did the subscribe and save subscription (free to cancel anytime) and it saved me 5% right off the top. I figured since I can cancel anytime why pay more when I’m just starting out. If I like it and it shows results then I’m already signed up for the auto delivery every two months (most popular option) and if I don’t like it then i at least saved some money off the top and can cancel the auto fill. One last thing I noticed is the powder seems to have a little static electricity thing happening inside the bag, so just be careful when scooping, it might start to cling to your hand or clothes if to close to the powder. It was sticking to my measuring spoon on the outside, kinda weird and cool at the same time. I will update review in 30 days or so to see if I notice a change in hair, skin, nails, wrinkles etc. As for my hair, it will be easy to tell if it helps grow hair faster since I have a nearly shaved head, except for my small spiked mohawk. So I will definitely notice if my hair is growing faster since I know exactly how much hair grows in 4 weeks since I have a regular cut every 3 weeks. The bag has a closure seal to keep it fresh and I don’t think it would transfer easily to another container since it’s like powdered sugar and is “clingy” and poofy. The whole bag would need to go into a different container if necessary. Hope this helps answer some questions that I even had when I started and had to find the answers on my own. I get this auto-shipped to my house every month and use it daily. I like to make my coffee every morning and add this powder to it. I drink hot coffee in the mornings and it mixes wonderfully in the hot temperature drinks. I have tried to mix it in colder drinks, and it didn’t dissolve quite as well. I never actually tried to use one of those blender cups though, so maybe it would blend better with one of those? I like that it doesn’t have a flavor because it doesn’t take away from the flavor of whatever drink I am blending it in.

Product is great! If you do not like the taste, then I suggest spreading out the 11g serving throughout the day. I’ve used small amounts of this product in tea, Gatorade, soup, mac & cheese, salad dressing, etc. and did not taste it. Also, the powder did not change the taste of the food/beverage I added it to. Have not tried this powder on plain fruit or veggies, but added to sauces, dressings, and dips. Would buy again.

I’m 70 & have been adding this to my coffee. Barely notice the taste. In addition, I’m drinking 4 cups of green and increasied my protein especially since I don’t eat meat and little poultry & fish between 50-70grams, daily average.I do see a difference in my face. It’s slight, but noticeable to me. First, my skin looks more even tone. I’m fair & stay out of the sun, but still can get a little blotchy. My fine lines still are there, of course, but look better because my whole face looks brighter/healthier. Bottom line, I like what I see so far. Drinking more liquids (green tea?) no doubt have helped & I still have to push myself to have 8 or more cups.My beauty routine for face & neck every morning & night is a combo of coconut oil, frankensence essential oil & clay sage (all bought on Amazon).Lastly, my hair has thinned around my temples. It’s now showing signs of growth! I’m hopeful & will be able to really tell in another month or two. If so, this is easy & budget friendly unlike what the Doctor would advocate.

This was my first time using this brand and thought I’d try the Peach Mango because I thought I could add to my water bottle for a refreshing cold drink. I’ve found you need hot water to get it to dissolve and I’m not really fond of the flavor as it has that ‘bovine’ taste that goes along with collagen powders. If I mix it in with some grape water flavorings, it disguises the taste, but I think next time I’ll try either the unflavored or chocolate flavored so I can add to my morning coffee. I haven’t really taken it every day consistently because of the issues above so can’t really tell if it’s working, but I will give the company another shot probably.

I haven’t been using this for long enough to know of the health benefits. It clumps up and is hard to mix into any cold drinks but mixes very well into hot drinks, so lately I’ve been dissolving into a small amount of water then just pouring that into whatever cold drink and that seems to be working well, but only if you drink the whole drink, so that you are getting the full dose. While it is flavorless, I DO NOT Recommend drinking it alone or in something flavorless like water, best to add to something with some taste (a smoothie, coffee, tea etc) I think I am going to switch to the pill version because it is easier to grab and go and I also don’t have to worry about mixing it in. I will continue to use this.

I’ve been taking this for almost 3 months now and i have noticed my hair getting longer. Along with my nails. I cant say for sure about my skin and joints but we’ll see in another 3 months. Also I haven’t noticed any new hair growth, it’s just the hair I already have getting longer. 🙃 I am doing hair oils, massages and trying to be stress free so hopefully new hair will grow out.It doesn’t mix well with juices or milk, it clumps up. I haven’t purchased too many collagen powders but I have to say out of the couple that I have purchased, this is by far my favorite. It has good flavor, good consistency, blends well with whatever I mix it with and has all the goodies in it that make it one of the best collagen powders on the market. Pair it with vitamin c for better absorption. I will definitely be buying this product again.

The Live Conscious Collagen Peptides does seem to help strengthen weak or brittle nails. I’ve been using this product once a day for a little over a month and I have noticed that my nails are becoming stronger and seem to peel less often. I’m hoping for continued improvement as time goes by, and I am happy with the performance and flavor. I’m currently using the chocolate and I add it to my morning coffee, I hope Amazon will include vanilla in the near future as that would be my preference.

I purchased this supplement after researching products to promote hair growth. I have been taking this supplement for about 1 week and have noticed that my skin is hydrated and soft without utilization of topical moisturizer but, feel its far too soon to see any hair growth effects. I mix the powder in my daily morning coffee (hot coffee) and I can’t taste the difference. Unfortunately, it appears the supplements may be giving me facial acne however, I am also taking Biotin supplements which cause a similar effect. Still hopeful I will see some hair growth in the near future.

This is the 2nd bag I’ve purchased based on a friend’s testimonial. I know it may take a few months to work so I’m still waiting for it to work. My main concern is thinning hair. Though I’ve noticed that maybe not as much hair is falling out whenever I wash and style my hair, I still don’t see more growth or fuller hair. I’m hopeful…My one critique is that I wish the scoop that came in the bag was sized correctly. There’s a line that on the scoop that indicates 11 grams, which is the serving size, but the scoop is larger than that. Why isn’t the scoop made to fill exactly 11 grams instead? It’s a daily annoyance. I just eyeball it but every day I’m a little annoyed that I’m eyeballing it rather than using a level scoop of the powder.

I use this in my coffee each morning and it does not change the taste or consistency at all. It dissolves easily. I am taking it to try to improve my hair and nail strength. So far, I haven’t noticed an improvement but I’m sure it takes time. I have been using it for a little over 2 months.

I’ve been using the product for a little over two weeks. First of all, there’s little to no taste when mixed with herbal tea (hot). I stir as I pour the liquid in as it does clump up in the bottom of my mug if I don’t mix right away. My joints don’t seem to ache as much, and today I had someone ask me if I had gotten Botox as my deep wrinkle between my eyebrows is starting to lessen. Overall I’m highly satisfied.
