4.0 de 5 estrellas Scratchy but Flexible Nibs!
If you’ve ever used a Sakura Micron PN, the tips of these are a bit similar in that they’ll give a bit to some pressure. They’re scratchy as heck, but you can use them for lettering if you want! I don’t love the scratchiness/feedback on the paper, so I docked one star, but I do otherwise love these pens.

These were super fun I used them for note taking, they never bleed through paper and the tips are plastic so they dont wear down very fast. Eventually they did start to dry out but that was after a long semester of nursing school

5.0 de 5 estrellas Great value
I’m a teacher and originally was shown these pens by my teammate who bought them as a less expensive alternative to flair pens. I loved them so much that I bought this multi-color pack for myself and black ones for my students to use to write over pencil. The tips are very fine and the colors are great. They probably won’t last as long as the pricier flair pens but I’m very satisfied with this pack for how inexpensive it is.

Package was on time and just like the pictures, I love the range of colors and the packaging. No dried up or broken pens in the set I got, and they’re labeled with their name and number which is a plus. Write well, great as a fineliner and calligraphy (if the hard tip doesn’t bother you). I’m honestly in love with these 🙂

4.0 de 5 estrellas Very good color pen, but shipping broke the plastic box
I like the color pen of this brand and I’ve been using it for years, they are pretty good! But the product was damaged during shipping, however, it only broke the plastic box but didn’t hurt the pen, so I’m too lazy to replace a new one.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Great Value!
I love these Monami Pens. You can use them as both a bullet point pens and a small brush for lettering. It’s a really good option for people that are heavy handed (like me! 😋) as the tips are stiff but flexible.Ink colors match the barrel and the variery of colors in the 36 pack are wonderful!

5.0 de 5 estrellas Most awesome pen set with storage
Using in Hobonichi Weeks, does well on Tomoe River and regular paper (no shadow or bleed). Small nib size works well for small planner size and writing. Great selection of colors, especially love the range of tans and browns for doodling skin tones.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Delicate tip, Bright colors
Affordable brush pens for tiny lettering. You can do great things with them. The colors are vibrant and show up really well, specially the neons and the blue shades. I bought them to do some lettering practice. The box is light but resistant. JUST BUY THEM!

5.0 de 5 estrellas Monami, Staedtler, Stabilo, Pentel
I figure it would be easier to write one review comparing all of them.Triplus Fineliner(30): Out of the bunch these have the smoothest application and I enjoy using them the most. You don’t have to worry about ruining the paper if you go over the same spot a couple times. You can actually fill up a decent size area without it being streaky like you’d expect with most of these products. It’s unfortunate they chose so many muted/ dark colors (12/30 to be exact) and they are the most expensive. Bleed? Little to moderateStabilo(30): Wide range of bright colors at a decent price. I find myself reaching for these more than steadtler because of the colors although they have a harder tip and can be scratchy, it would be hard to fill a decent size area but good for precision. Bleed? ModeratePentel(36): Got these to fill in bigger spaces as they’re cheaper than the steadtler colour pens and stabilo 68 pens. For the price they’re ok. I love all the colors but really hate using them. They feather, can’t be used for precision, and tear up the paper pretty fast. It’s almost impossible to get even coverage as well. I’m not sure how much use I’ll get out of them, pretty bummed overall. Bleed? YesMonami(24): I love these things. They’re CHEAP!, colorful, and bright- but not good for big areas. The tip is hard to explain, think maybe like Papermate Flairs except finer, great for details that can be hard to get with the other fineliners. They’re actually good for writing as well(I buy the packs of black for note taking). It’s smoother than the pentel felt tip but will still tear up the paper and can give streaky coverage (some colors more than others) if you aren’t careful. Note- they sometimes “sputter” when brand new. Not a lot though and it subsides quickly. Bleed? Little to none!

I enjoy making cute notes for school and these are the perfect size tip for what I needed them for. They write easily and the tips have yet to break or dull yet. I have also yet to have one dry out but I don’t consistently just use these. Overall, I love the color options and writing of these pens!

5.0 de 5 estrellas Sturdy Case Vibrant Shades
If you are like me, you were debating which set to get. Honestly the 36 pieces one is perfect for traveling and just at your desk. More than enough shades to mess around in. I have used them on 100gsm and Tomoe river paper. Had no issues with bleed through or smears. These have a slightly flimsy tip but firm as well. So you could use them to write normally with or a bit of brush lettering for small sizes.EDIT:I have ordered the 48 just recently. This set comes in two cases and separated by Cool and Warm colors. It also has a Monami strap to hold both cases together which was a nice surprise to get. Another neat thing was that inside one of the cases was a swatch sheet for all 48 colors that you fill in yourself. Wish that some of the other big packs of pens I had bought did this too. People complain that it is scratchy but it writes very smoothly and vibrant. Has no bleed through what so ever and contains a 0.4 mm tip.

4.0 de 5 estrellas Attractive Pen Set – Odd Assortment of Colors
As stated in the title – this pen set is attractive, well packaged and aesthetically pleasing. However, after testing all of the different pens on various types of paper I have come to two conclusions – 1) the color assortment is very strange and 2) these are great pens for writing / journaling / planning etc. but they would be terrible to try to color with due to the fineness of the tip as well as the low ink saturation. So a few details to mention – this set seems to lack many shades of green – there are a many blueish / reddish / orangeish / yellowish hues but for green it all seems to be “yellow green” or “blue green” (green is my favorite color so I think I would find this aspect more annoying than most). There are also 5+ pens that are so “neon” that they are unreadable on white paper – however – since they are ink pens and not gel they don’t show up on dark papers either so I do not understand what the point of those colors is. You cant highlight with a point that fine and honestly I cannot think of any coloring application where you would want a SUPER neon SUPER unreadable yellow or orange. Overall the shopping and purchasing experience for this product was top notch – I am not sure how I feel about the pens – I think I would need to use them more to determine an accurate rating – that being said I really liked the way that they felt in my hand and they seem sturdy. I would purchase again from this seller for sure!

5.0 de 5 estrellas Super cute, sturdy marker pens!
I bought the 48-color set along with a few other sets of markers and these were definitely my favorite by a lot. Aside from the packaging being super functional — they even made the top hang tab function as a container snap — I like that it comes with an elastic band to keep the set together. I also appreciated the swatch card which I promptly filled out so I could test all the pens. I also own a set of Staedtler Fineline pens and find the Monami pens to be superior in terms of the sturdiness of the nib. I have a pretty heavy hand but these little guys didn’t seem to really bend although I was trying to be pretty gentle doing my swatches.I plan on using them for note taking at work so I like that I can both write and draw with them. I can speak to the long lasting-ness of them but I would recommend them since they are fairly affordable, especially for what you’re getting!

5.0 de 5 estrellas Excellent for writing, lettering and art.
Updating to include the 60 color set in this review (since Amazon can’t seem to figure out why any time you have more than one of a manufacturer’s product line, you can only leave one review for one of the items).I recently bought the 60 color set in the round tin. Unlike other reviewers, I had no issues with delivery. The tin was shrink wrapped with plastic, and there is an additional thin cardboard sleeve (seen in picture) that is basically two circles, joined by strips, which slides over the container. I think those who had loose pens and crushed /opened containers, most likely got someone’s returned product.I have added the color chart for these 60, where I have made a swatch of each pen next to the color chart that is shipped with them. As you can see, colors are a little different for most, but this is to be expected. This set of 60 with the white barrels is just as nice, maybe even nicer, than the sets with colored barrels in the flat cases. I am very glad I bought these when I saw them on sale. Will definitely buy again when needed.Original Review:These are reasonably priced and work fantastic for multiple uses. The only thing you need to be cautious about is that the nibs will “spit” a fine spray of ink if you use them at a 90% angle t o the paper or with a more textured paper and pressure. This is not a flaw, it is how the hard nibs react – any hard nib pen will do this.I love these so much I will be sad if they are no longer available in the future.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Quality, rich colors, great value
After a disappointing experience with Sharpie fineliners, I went on the hunt for better quality and more color variety and landed on some Staedtler pens. But as I read through reviews and looked at pics that other customers had uploaded, I landed on some comments about these Monami pens. The colors were as rich (if not even more pigmented) than the Steadtler and Stabilo pens I’d been looking at, and these had more positive comments for writing than the others did. Not to mention that these Monami pens were MUCH less expensive than the others.I use these pens to mark events in a big planner I use to manage schedules for my work organization, and having various easily-visible colors is a must. They’re comfortable to hold, have only a couple of pens that are really too light for writing (but would probably be great for art), and the ink dries quickly, so it doesn’t smear. I like these so much that I think I need to buy a pack of black pens from Monami, just for everyday writing!

No se pudo cargar el archivo multimedia. I was gladly surprised because they are awesome. They have great colors, and the hard tip let me make beautiful thin strokes but I also can do calligraphy in small size, perfect for my journal or to write letters. They don’t bleed.Another plus is that they came with a plastic bin perfect to keep them stored. Also, I was surprised with the neon colors, I love them! They are so 80’s.They said that are felt tip but it’s flexible enough to use as a brush tip.I think this was the best find of the year.

Edited to add: I just noticed the markers do in fact say “Plus Pen 3000” and it appears the markers have a new look. A few are dry/out of ink, but the rest work well. Therefore, I am updating my review. I purchased the 24 Plus Pen 3000 a year or so ago, so decided to order the 36 Plus Pen 3000 version.

3.0 de 5 estrellas Good but not great…
I wanted to love them, I has high hopes for these pens. Very small brush pens to use for calligraphy. But the tip is too harsh and its hard to have good thick strokes and also the type of ink feathers a bit which almost ruined one of my projects.Great variety of colors and I will keep using them but not as much as I hoped.

Value for money! I love the color range. It includes some pretty colors. Some pens are more flexible, allowing for thicker down strokes. A few can be a bit scratchy on the paper but it doesn’t bother me. It’s convenient to have each pen labeled with the color. Overall great pens. 🙂

I’ve used the black and blue (and red) Monami Plus Pens for about a decade at this point, but bought this set to make my to-do lists and tasks more fun. 5.0 de 5 estrellas Great value great colors
A little scratch on paper, but over all they have a great color selection and the plastic nib on the pen bends just enough with a little pressure to make these pens have a nice thick and thin stroke that looks like ‘brush’ lettering even though it isn’t a brush tip.

I’m a total pen fanatic, which is why I was so excited to find such a wide array of colors in fine-tip, for so cheap! These exceeded my expectations. A lot of them are so sheer that it won’t show up. So maybe around 15 show up well but they’re scratchy. Affordable but i wouldn’t repurchase. These pens feel more like fine point felt tip markers which I love. I plan to use them to color code important dates in my planner. There are a few colors (golden yellow, yellow and pale orange) I probably would not use because they are very light/pale. The other colors in the set are vibrant and will work well for me.The case provided is plastic; it’s pretty sturdy and will work well to store the pens and keep them organized.

These pens are a fun addition to my pen collection, but I can’t say I LOVE them. Some of them appear to be less inky than others and I wonder how long they will last. They do look great in my Stalogy notebook, and do not bleed on other thin papers.Would be a great gift for a person new to brush lettering, as they are quite firm and are great for practicing muscle memory of thin upward and thicker down strokes.

I love these. They are like the flair pens with thinner tips. Also, they are a little more affordable. I’m a teacher so I use these for everything from grading to making colorful to-do lists. Some minor cons are the tips sometimes make a squeaky, weird noise that may be annoying to some. Also, some colors are hard to see. Major pros are the case and the color selection. My favorites are peacock blue, coral, and red purple! I’m surprised I haven’t heard of these before. I purchased a smaller pack from a seller then I purchased this 36 pack for more colors.

4.0 de 5 estrellas Great for the price
The pens are great for the price; they can double as fineliners or brush pens (though you won’t get very thick down strokes). I do feel each pen writes a little differently and occasionally I get ink splatters. However I would highly recommend if you want a cheap alternative to some of the other brands out there. Beautiful colors, very fine lines, comfortable to hold and I like the case it came in.

5.0 de 5 estrellas My new favorite pens!
First let me say I’ve tried a lot of pens in my planner. Some bleed through to the next page, some I dislike because the tip flexes over time, and some don’t write true to the color of the outside of the pen. These pens do none of those! I know I don’t have to worry about color showing through to the next pens. When I pick a color, it writes true to the color of the outside and cap. I don’t know the “life” of these, but should the colors I use the most dry up eventually, I won’t hesitate to buy a new pack!

4.0 de 5 estrellas Great deal for great small nib brush pens!
Amazing markers for hand lettering, especially for the price. Though one of my markers (pure pink) came completely dried out, but besides that they’re great. Definitely great if you prefer small tip brush markers with more resistance, great for if you’re heavy handed. The tips, even though small, bounce back great too. All in all, for the price & even considering 1 marker was dried out & unusable(& it was a color I was really looking forward to having) I would still buy them again, & have been considering grabbing one of the smaller packs to get the few colors that didn’t come in the 48 count set(as it seems there’s a few shades that change for the higher counts) as well as the pure pink that was dried out from this set.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Great for lettering if you like fine tip markers!
If you like lettering/calligraphy with very fine tip markers, these are wonderful! (I’d say these are comparable to writing with a .38 ink pen). When brand new, some of the colors allow for thinner upstrokes and thicker downstrokes than others, but after several uses all colors became consistent for me. None of my colors came dried out. They come in a really nice storage case. The case holds each individual marker tight and it stays closed when carried in my tote bag. These markers would be a great choice for lettering in planners and other small spaces. Amanda Arneill (professional calligrapher) did a very throrough review of these on her YouTube channel, worth checking out for sure.

I really love these pens! They’re a bit more of a marker-tip, but fine and elongated, so you have the precision of a pen. They haven’t bled through either my calendar paper (mochithings) or any of my student work. The ONLY negative I have is that if you’re a speedy writer and you tilt the body of the pen, you may have a little “splash” off the pen – it isn’t much, and it isn’t often, but it does happen. Definitely not worth complaining about at all (just something to be aware of for anyone who is planning on using these for large amounts of writing/sketching).I will absolutely purchase again, and will gift these as well.

I thought maybe they would not work, since they are fine tips, but they are able to be used as a brush pen as well. Definatley recommended for a beginner. I will attach some photos. I am a beginer as well, so my Calligraphy is not great. Just a for warning.

4.0 de 5 estrellas Beautifully bright!!…just a few too light.
I’m a teacher so I use these to grade, write on the doc.cam. etc…the darker colors are awesome, super vivid and crisp. The lighter colors you can barely see when you write with them…and some of the ink doesnt match the color of the marker at all…like not even close. If it gets that tough to differentiate one would think a less amount of truer colors at a slightly lower price might be the way to go, but hey, still an awesome set of markers with a nifty little plastic carrying case too, so I’m not unhappy with my purchase at as all.

5.0 de 5 estrellas For PaperMate Felt Tip pen lovers, these are 1,000 times better!
These are my new favorite pens. If you like PaperMate felt tip pens, these are 1,000 times better and a better value. You can use these to hand letter with thin upstrokes and thick downstrokes with difference in pressure and it doesn’t harm the tip. The tip is thin, so you can write really thin or apply a little pressure and write thicker. They do not bleed unless you press down really hard for a longer time, so using these to color would likely bleed through the back. I use these for my planner, will use in regular writing and hand lettering, as well as drawing on cardstock for making bookmarks. 10/10 recommend.

I love that it came seal and that it hasn’t been open. And when you do open it, it was organize by color and so satisfying to look at. The pen are held in very sturdy in the case. I have not issue with me pens, beside a little splatter of ink when I press hard, but once I pull off the pressure and change the angle it work just fine. That only happen with two of the pens. I loved these pens! The colors are great, and they are great quality considering the price. However, one of my pens came broken! I’ll definitely try to replace it, but it may be hard to find that specific pen. Overall, though, these pens are great, and my only complaint is the broken pen.

5.0 de 5 estrellas A variety of color options with affordable price and excellent quality
My daughters and I like to use other brand name felt pens but they were too expensive. We have enjoyed the color choices for writing and drawing. It is very fine (0.3mm) but smooth and creates refined lines. I let my students to try for writing and grading and they also love to use them. From now on this product is going to be the one I will order on a regular basis.

This 48 color set has such a beautiful range of colors! I love that the lines are nice and thin. They also come with a color chart to swatch them all out on complete with the names on the paper and pen so you can match them up. I am so happy I got these! Can’t wait to use them on some projects!!

These pens are kind of difficult to hold on to. They’re super thin so that makes it hard to get a good grip on. The vibrant colors are super vibrant, some of the other colors are sheer.

I CAN NOT PUT INTO WORDS HOW MUCH I LOVE THESE!!! They are so fine and great for detail! The colors are super pigmented and vibrant. The case was an added bonus. These are great if you like to bullet journal or have a colorful planner! One of the finest point pens I have ever bought. They also do not bleed!
