I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma, that a good friend gave me because he no longer drives. It is mechanically perfect, but my friend didn’t spend very much time on detailing. In fact no time. The wheels were yucky. I released a jihad on them with my pressure washer and whatever cleaning products were to hand, to no avail. I don’t get excited easily, but when I saw how this product worked, I did get a little quiver of pleasure. Easy on easy off, and the brownish hue was replaced by a silvery glow

Maybe my truck is an extreme example, but most of the bigger spots are going to need 2 or 3 more treatments. It definitely worked on most of the smaller spots, many of which I couldn’t even see. Still experimenting on how best to apply. Used an entire bottle on one side. Ordered a second bottle to do the other side.Overall, the treated side looks much better than the untreated side.

Worked like a champ! Simply follow the application instructions and it performs as advertised. I had to perform multiple applications myself due to heavy amounts of iron present on my vehicle, you might not have to, but just be prepared if one pass doesn’t take it all off for you.

I bought this to use in my 17 year old son’s truck, and my wheels. We live in Hawaii and rust happens and oxidation. I really wish I took a before photo because the results were amazing and it took all the rust marks on his white truck off and made me the coolest mom ever because I found something that works. It also need an amazing job on the wheels. I need to purchase more because we used the entire bottle between both our vehicles. Great stuff and fast delivery this time.

After this brake failed, it was spitting metal-on-metal and nothing else in my detailing kit would touch this. The top image is after a thorough wash and detailing, including other “wheel cleaners.” I ordered Adam’s Iron Remover, having only used Iron-X in the past when it first showed up on the market.I was blown away by how quickly and easily this removed the embedded dust on this wheel. I gave the wheel a quick wipe down, sprayed, let dwell, agitated with a wheel brush, and added a very little bit more to keep the chemical from drying. I rinsed and repeated for a total of three applications and this is the result. There’s still a bit of embedded dust in the corners, but this is good enough for a 13 year old car.I would highly recommend wearing long gloves, an apron, face shield, and mask or respirator of choice. This stuff is nasty. Wash up any exposed skin and clothing when you’re done.

I use this to remove iron staine from well water on RV and car paint. Works well and does not harm the paint. Love how it turns purple where Iron has been removed. Multiple applications needed for heavy staining. It has a rotten egg smel but tolerable. My well water here in the Florida panhandle has a high iron content so I buy it by the gallon for savings.

I used about half a bottle on one car in one application for a very dirty set of rims. I’m not sure if that was usual use or not, but I feel like it may be expensive for it’s per use. Intention. This may be a less expensive version of other competitive products, but I’m not positive. I’m new to auto detailing and wanted to clean up some rims. The product does appear to work. It smells good, but why are you smelling a cleaning chemical in the first place. Get your nose out of the gas can and clean them rims

After years of using a clay bar to remove iron particles from paint, I stumbled upon Adam’s Iron Remover. I was admittedly very hesitant to use it in fear that it would damage the paint; however, after several applications to different vehicles, I’m amazed at how well this stuff works! Every bit of iron “dust” imbedded in the paint seems to run right off in a purple haze and I haven’t seen any signs of damage to the clear coat or paint. This stuff definitely made a believer out of me, having saved me countless hours of claying and frustration. Highly recommended, especially for white vehicles that show all of the iron dust. Take your time and make sure to rinse it before it dries and you’ll be just as satisfied!

One bottle won’t quite do a mid-size truck, and two is a little more than you need but this iron remover works decently well. It doesn’t foam up like the Griots, so you actually get better coverage on the car.I don’t see too many advantages between iron removers, having tried a few. They all do about the same thing the same way. Some have a slightly better smell than others, some are colored like this one so you can see where you’ve sprayed, but all of them chemically are the same. Just avoid ones that promise any foaming, as that really kills your coverage. A runnier product covers more surface area.I started using Purple X from Superior Products instead of this as it’s about 1/4 the cost. I do prefer the orange color on this, but not for the higher cost. If you don’t have an Oreillys near you to pick up Purple X, the Adam’s is a good alternative.

It does what all iron removes do melt embedded particles before or after claying. Spray on, let it sit, and bleed purple, then wash off with rinse or rinse with contact wash to remove all the staining. From my usage, all iron removers do the same job. The only difference is how bad the smell is when using the product. This one is diluted with an orange scent which is not strong enough to mask all of the nasty smell from iron removers, but it is way better than ones without any scent such as Carpro iron remover which made me want to hurl when I first used it. I would give this 5 stars if this was cheaper to buy in bulk such as their 5-gallon when it was on sale and with amazon prime so no shipping cost as the buyer. If their mega foam had prime shipping then it would be a good deal. I couldn’t find any other brands that sell iron remover for less. It works well on all exterior surfaces of the car including wheels, brakes, and tires. It might cause some rusting on the metal brake rotors but those will come off when braking so no worries. Also, don’t use it on damaged surfaces because iron remover is an acid. 3 Stars because the price is still steep for 1-gallon and 5-gallon (buy them in gallon or 5-gallon size when on sale, then use ur own spray bottle instead of their overprice small bottle versions). Another star was lost because of the smell which is not as horrific as Carpro iron x. Iron remover should only really be used when prepping your vehicle for ceramic coating or some other intensive application. Iron remover shouldn’t be used in every car wash and only use when preparing a coating over the vehicle. So a gallon or 5 gallons will last you years if you DIY and not a business.

I had rust striations on the hood of my 2003 Toyota Tacoma so I washed the hood, rinsed and dried and applied this product. I put a big sheet under the hood to catch any drips as it can affect trim, etc. While I sprayed it, purple dots and larger areas of purple appeared all over (the product attacking the rust). I used a spray bottle of water to apply for rinsing part and wiped it up with paper towels as I went. More control than just using hose to rinse. It took all those rust areas out!I had previously tested it on a huge rust streak all along the inside of the door frame where latch had rusted and dripped down and it almost took it all out. I can retry later to see if I can completely get rid of it.I highly recommend this product!

A while back I parked at the airport beneath what turned out to be a pipe dripping dirty water. When I returned from my trip there were iron stains all along the front ten inches of the hood.I did some research. Tried spraying WD40 on it, did absolutely nothing. I began to fear I’d need to either have significant pain correction work done or live with the stains. Then I found this product.Sprayed liberally on the stains. Five minutes later, wiped off the liquid with a dry cloth. The iron stains had liquified and wiped off effortlessly, leaving the paint behind undamaged and unaffected.I can’t imagine not having a bottle of this stuff in the garage, just in case. It works.

I recently got a Dodge Ram in trade for an old project car. Thing is in pretty good shape but the brake dust / iron deposits were so bad on the passenger side. I’ve never seen so much. I really thought I was just going to have to sand it down and repaint it all just to get away from all that orange debris. I saw someone mention this stuff in a group, and looked into it. Was fairly impressed with the reviews and videos I saw. So I figured it was worth a shot. I was wildly surprised how well and quickly it worked. All I did was rinse the side down good. Sprayed on the Adams. Waited 5-8 minutes, rinsed it all off, took a clean rag and wiped off the excess, repeat.Only had to do this twice and it was 95% +/- gone. Now the bottle was empty too by that point. But $16 compared to thousands to get it repainted. Absolutely worth it. And I will be ordering several more.Again I can not explain just how awesome it worked.

Product is great but really takes 2 bottles to do a mid size suv. Takes too long trying to get around a vehicle pumping the spray bottle 100x+ times by hand (get a garden sprayer). Only apply in shade, wait up to 5 min, DO NOT let product dry. Rinse off with high pressure, normal garden hose pressure may not remove well enough. Or do an immediate contact soap/wash by hand mitt after to insure removal if using garden hose.

My car was sitting in a garage for 6 months under a drip leak that I wasn’t aware of. There was a very big and deep water stain on my car in 3 different places. With just one use of Adam’s the water stain came off with no problem. There was one on my back window as well that did not come off, so for car paint it works great, for windows, not so much.

Project Farm did a comparison test of ceramic coating. The instructions said to use an iron remover and this product was easy to use with Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray Coating.This combination was rated easy to use, and I agree. Fast and Easy.While this was not rated the best product combination, it was rated very good, and I am very happy with the results.

I chose the Adams Iron Remover after considering several different competing products. I was not disappointed. I was happy to see a nice discount on the two bottle offer, and although the gallon was an even better value, I just didn’t need that much iron remover. So after using this product on a fairly beaten up Honda Civic paint job, I was impressed. As a chemical decontaminant it worked very well. It sprayed on evenly and after dwelling on the paint is rinsed off very easily. The smell is usually bad with these iron removers, but the Adams Iron Remover has a softer odor than others that I have tried in the past. Good value for a very effective product.

I made the mistake of grinding on some metal and the uncontrollable sparks dusted the car but I didn’t know that. Maybe I could blame the wife for parking in the driveway too… After about a month (maybe longer) the whole front of the car was rusted- I was expecting to have to repaint the car but I was researching and came across a similar product that cost more but decided to try this one. There was not enough product to go around mainly because the front end, hood, both front fenders and bumpers got the worst of it and I had to do them twice. They could have used a 3rd spray. Unfortunately I did get the whole car and had to spray the whole thing and emptied the bottle on it with a single coat doors back. I have to say it worked but they’re was no getting around using a clay bar on the whole car which actually removed the pellets then compounding with a buffer to remove the rust stain, then polishing it and ultimately applying a ceramic coat on the car. I did try to clay bar the hood the day before but it was hopeless at that point and after two hits with this stuff on the hood it was promising. Car looks amazing now! Smooth as silk and no rust spots/stains to be found. I only wish the product went a little further, maybe enough to do the whole car twice, or at least two cars single use each. And no, I do not blame my wife for parking in the driveway- I own this mistake 100%.

I was super skeptical and just knew I had wasted my money.I have a 2011 Silverado that had a serious issue with the front brakes on the passenger side. It left brake dust and fluid all down the entire side of my truck. I didn’t notice it til many days later and it had hardened to the point that I thought I’d never get it off.I scrubbed it and used turtle wax and it took almost an hour to clean off a spot the size of my fist.I ordered this product and it works so well I honestly could not believe it..I was laughing and so happy I called my brother to come and look. He was amazed also.Sprayed it on waited 5-6 minutes and literally hoses it off….I’m gonna tell everyone about this stuff!!!

I wish I would have taken pics of my car prior to using this product. In a nutshell, the metal frame around my license plates rusted, leaving rust trails on the license plates as well as rust marks on the paint of my white car. I purchased this product thinking that it would probably end up getting returned but, much to my surprise, IT REALLY WORKED! I removed the rusty license plate frame from both the front and the back and sprayed the product on both license plates. I also sprayed the product on the rear of the car to remove the rust marks from the paint. Due to the extent of the rust stains on the license plates and my vehicle, it took about 3-4 consecutive treatments for the rust to be completely removed from both the license plates and the rear of the car. By consecutive treatments I mean, cleaning the surface that has rust as per bottle instructions, spraying the surface with the product, waiting 5 minutes, rinsing off the product, and repeating those steps until you get the result you want. There is no trace of rust anywhere! I’m very happy with the product and glad that I took a chance on it. It will be my go-to product for any rust issues on my license plates or car.

I wasn’t sure how this would work but I sprayed it on my white car and Wow I had thousands of weeping spots. I haven’t tried any other brands but I would think it’s going to be hard to beat this stuff.

I have used this stuff in the past and it worked great. But when I ordered it this time the item did not come with the spray nozzle. It would be great if I already had the old bottle and just needed a refill but this is not what I was looking for.

I had a unique challenge with my car – a pipe above my parking spot started leaking and left an umremovable drip pattern of rusty water on my passenger side door and window, which I named “the lucky poop streak.” I tried all the online hacks to remove it – WD-40 (did nothing, and was greasy), alcohol (also did absolutely nothing), window cleaner and a diligent scrubbing with a microfiber cloth (I was desperate). Almost thought I might have to sand out and reseal the paint (but what was I going to do with the rust on the window?? It couldn’t even be scraped off with a blade!) but decided to look for another solution on Amazon.I found Iron-Out from Adam’s and it looked promising. I ordered it and as soon as I sprayed it on the stain, it turned purple and drippy, and came off immediately! It took the stain off the window as well! It worked perfectly and I’m so glad I tried this before potentially ruining my car’s paint.I haven’t tried it all over the car or on the wheels as suggested, but I do know if you have rusty water stain on your car, this will get it out. Only use it on your exterior though, it has a very strong scent and you will need to wash your car to get the smell and residue completely off. I also used this to work on the rust stains on my sink/medicine cabinet and it worked! Smelled awful and I had to wash over it, but it did work to remove that rust.Highly recommend this product for rust removal on non-porous surfaces that can also be washed afterward!

Bought a used 2021 Kia Sorento SX in Glacier white. Who ever owned this car before clearly didn’t take care or it. Had the little orange spot all over the wheel hubs and on the roof behind the panoramic window. Sprayed the whole car with this let it sit for 5 mins. Watched the car turn purple. I hosed the car off. Then sprayed it again and started using a clay bar. The car looks brand freaking new!!!!!!. Worth every penny. Def going to buy again and use it before every new season.

This stuff is awesome!!! It really works. Only complaint is if it was foaming as maybe stay on the vehicle longer but still awesome stuff!!! Would recommend!!!

Love the products. I feel like Adams has really cheapened out in the spray bottles lately. Seems like all the sprayers are crap. They get stuck or leak or crack during use. Might be time to find a new detail brand.
