I have a striped sweater that I absolutely love, which is white on top with a thick band of tan beneath it and a thick band of black at the bottom. After many, many times of washing the sweater (with darks, mostly), the white part turned a dingy grey. I didn’t know what I could possibly do about it, or how I could prevent newer clothes from suffering the same fate, so I started doing some online homework. I didn’t even know these color catchers existed!!I’ve used these color catchers in a few loads now, and I am amazed. I had a brand new black sweatshirt that I washed with a load of mostly darks, with a couple of pairs of white socks. I threw in a color catcher to see if the white socks would stay white. Sure enough, the color catcher soaked up the black dye and my white socks stayed white.Then, I set about trying to cure my poor sweater that had gone dingy grey at the top. I soaked the top half-ish of the sweater in a bucket of warm water with OxiClean. After about an hour or so, I put the sweater in the wash with just a few other items and a color catcher sheet. I set it to have an extra rinse at the end, too. After that wash, the sweater came out much brighter on top, and the color catcher sheet turned the exact dingy grey that used to be on my sweater. I think the Oxi loosened up the old transferred dye and most of it ended up on the color catcher instead of redepositing on my sweater. Seriously, I thought I was going to have to throw away this sweater, but it looks so much better now that it’s back in my regular rotation. It’s not as white as it was brand-new, but it’s probably 75% as bright, which is a huge accomplishment from where it started (maybe 25% as bright).The cost of these sheets is so small compared to having to replace sweaters that had gotten muddled colors from dye transfer. I’m definitely going to be using these on the regular from now on.Oh, and I think someone mentioned somewhere that these dye catchers need to be put into a separate delicates bag so they don’t clog up your machine or something, but I threw mine in without any bag and it held up just fine. Your results may vary, but my LG frontloaders didn’t chew it up or have any issues with it at all.

Years ago I had some clothes ruined because my kid threw a red shirt in the wash. I found these and now they are a must have for every load that includes clothes. Are they perfect? No. There is still certain times that colors will bleed onto other clothes but generally these catch everything. The only time they haven’t worked is when my kid washed jeans with my load of clothes which is a big time no no for me. I wash jeans with other jeans or towels as the jeans we buy are a “special dye” so they will bleed almost every wash. But alas, kids don’t alway listen and ruin my clothes

This is a product which I wish I had years ago. I pop a sheet into a load of dark clothes—-just in case I accidently included a light colored item, and the color comes out true to what it was originally. I also use it for the first wash of clothes.I have a hand quilted quilt that it protects from colors bleeding into each other.I do reuse them if the ‘sheet’ is still light colored. Good product.

It’s cool to see how these really work. Put them in a load of wash or you have darker items that have stripes on them or something that might have a questionable color that could transfer, pull out the load of wash and you’ll see the Dye has collected on this Paper. I’ve bought them back to back and I’m always impressed. A little extra laundry security.

There is nothing but positives about this product. Every person I’ve ever given it to or recommended them to try has been 100% sold on it. My husband said it was made for him. I have been impressed with these! Instead of separating my clothes I just put one or two (depending on the size of the load) in the washing machine instead. It genuinely has gone a great job of catching colors if they bleed during the cycle – usually as the end of the wash they come out with some stains that they have caught! These are super easy to just toss in and I have found them to be very effective!

I have been using these shout sheets for years!!! I use them when I wash my colored clothes (and not all pieces are “dark” colors) and anytime I have some new, colored clothing item in the load. These sheets absorb any dye that comes out of the new clothes so that other items do not get stained by the dye.

Not my first time buying these sheets. They serve the purpose and accumulate color. They don’t have any specific smell, don’t make your clothes sticky. I put one sheet into a coloured load and it lasts me a while. Doesn’t affect the softness of the clothes. Overall, good value for money

I really love using this!! I use this when I know that my cloths’ dye will bleed. Best to use on cloths like jeans, red, black, or dark colors. I love using this to wash out my fabrics. That way it absorbs the dyes on this small sheet than on my other cloths. I feel this should be a part of your washing routine.

My college son does not like separating clothes and witht these he doesn’t have to. We have washed reds and tabs together with no problem. I don’t suggest washing your whites with colors. Whereas there is no color on them.from.the other clothes they aren’t as bright. This is now a staple in our house. It does what it says. It is simple and effective.

Put a couple of these in with whites; especially if you have dingy looking clothes. The reason you have dingy looking clothes is because the dirt actually (bleeds” into the white clothes ust like a brand new red towel. The dirt has no place to go when it’s just in there with all of your other whites. Except for the dirt that’s left over in the water that’s being sucked out and actually being pulled down in deer clothes, making them even more dingy.. So, after soaking and all the dirt has been sucked back into your favorite white shirt. So, that’s why it still looks bemired even after bleaching it. . Put a few of these in with your whites and you will be astonished by how they look darker and the only word I can think of is just REALLY DINGY. You can see that they soaked up all the dirt, in every single one. I always do a large load of whites, that’s why I put in 3-4 sheets in. I still do at least 2 on a small load. I promise it’s shocking how dirty they look when Yusuf go to throw them away. The good thing- you can touch them and rub them on your white T-shirt, and absolutely none comes off. These are amazing!!!! They will literally suck anything that’s in the water with your laundry. I highly recommend using these with every load and more than one, depending on how large your load is.

I was very surprised to learn that neither of my sisters had heard of these dye catcher sheets. I have been using them for years, as have my daughters and many friends (via my recommendation) . They have since purchased them and I know they’ll be happy. These sheets have saved me from so many “oops!” – that odd sock that ends up in the wrong color wash, that new striped sweater that bleeds navy dye, etc. I even use them when I think the colors won’t run, and am often surprised that they “caught” some color. Well worth the price!

I separate my laundry, but little girl clothing comes with a lot of patterns and bright colors. So I worry certain colors will bleed into each other. For example a white shirt with red polk-a-dots. I Throw one of these color catching sheets in the wash and it takes care of the rest. It’s satisfying to pull the sheet out of the wash and see the color it turns from absorbing loose dye in the water. These sheets are also great for a newly quilted blanket or brand new blue jeans. I have them on subscribe and save because they are truly a must-have for anyone who ever buys new clothes or has to wash something that has not ever been washed before. I often throw them in whether theres something new in the wash or not but particularly if theres a lot of colored clothing in there.The color catchers truly catch dyes floating around in the water that would have been absorbed by other clothes. After my white SPF bike sleeves turned a nice light gray I started a search for a product that could catch any dark dyes in my washer. I bought this product and am amazed! Even old dark clothing, washed dozens and dozens and dozens of time still left a dark residue in the wash water but were captured by this product. You toss in a sheet with your wash load. When you pull out your wet clothes take a gander at the sheet you put in with that wash. You too will be amazed

I love these things. I do not know what makes them work but they do work! I camp a lot & doing laundry can be difficult at times so I try to do as few loads as possible. I am able to do mixed loads (lighter darks with whites) when I use these sheets.I have also found these sheets to be helpful to find out how colorfast a new item is as well. I just toss a sheet in the washer with the new item, if the sheet comes out with a lot of color, I know to be careful when washing that item in the future.

If you do mixed loads and want to minimize the color transfer of darker clothes to the lighter ones, if you genuinely care about the appearance of your wardrobe use this product! If you don’t care, just tie your clothes up with a rusty saw chain & drag them behind your car on a wet muddy road. Bring home and rinse offwith your garden hose 😀ok? alright?
