    I bought the 3 pack. Out of the box I was getting large pieces of white floaties in the water. Looked like a very thin paper filter maybe. I flushed 3 gallons of water through it as the instructions dictated. After a week of use, I was still getting white floaties. I replaced it with a second filter. The 1st one must be defective. I’m not seeing the floaties so far with the 2nd filter. I will probably try a different brand next time. I wish these were made in USA or Europe. I don’t trust the quality of Chinese products I put into my body.

    It is advertised with a recommended change of filter every 6 month or 300 gallons of water whichever comes first.We got this filter on Dec 27th of 2023 installed on 28th the first 3-4 days water tasted better than Aqaufina, it was delicious and felt clean. But, that was it. The quality of taste started to decline every single day. We use roughly 64 Oz of water each day, which makes total of 704 Oz in 11 days. 704 Oz converted to gallon would be 5.5 liquid gallon. That means, with just 1.8% of its total usage of its capacity (as advertised good for 300 gallons) the filtered water tastes bad. Is this a false advertisement? Can I get my money back ?? Would be happy to send a bottle of filter water filtered with their filter for the research purpose.

    We used these to replace our brand name whirlpool filter #4. I was worried about using off brand but shouldn’t have been. It fit perfectly with no leaks and great water flow. We did the 3 gallon rinse before we drank the water as instructed for any filter replacement. The water is clear and smells and tastes good. Can’t be the price! Will buy again!

    I like the filters, they are a good buy. I bought several of them so I won’t run out. I change my filters when my refrigerator let’s me know or when I see sediment in my water. It is easy to install, just be careful when you’reremoving the old one, because it is pressurized and you will get a kick back. It has a charcoal filter, so my water taste clean and I don’t have to buy cases of water for the home.

    About a 1 1/2 months ago, we moved to a new home. The Whirlpool refrigerator that came with the home uses these types of filters. A few weeks after we moved in the refrigerator display said I needed to order new filters. Compared to the cost of the filters I could purchase from Whirlpool to replace the old filter, these are a real bargain. It was easy to install and I followed all directions. The water tastes fine, but… I used to have a Zero Water system and had a TDS meter that confirmed the amount of total dissolved solids in the water was zero and I knew when to replace the filter when the reading got somewhat higher than that. Eventually I purchased an under the sink filter system that never reached a low of zero although it go as low as about 25 ppm. I did a reading today after replacing the button cell batteries in the TDS meter and had a reading of 345, but the unfiltered water had a reading of 425 so not a huge change! The U.S. EPA’s Maximum Contaminant Level for TDS is 500 ppm. Don’t get me wrong. The water still tastes good, but why such a high reading? Is this reading normal for this brand of filter? Anyway, for what I paid, the filtering is decent enough but I would feel a lot better about it if I knew what wasn’t being filtered out, especially with my previous experience with other filtering systems.

    Filter fits perfectly. However, even after cycling through about 5 gallons, I’m still getting well over 180 parts per million….not very good. Reverse osmosis water will typically yield about 10-20.

    I’m pretty picky about my water. Once you’ve had great tasting water it’s hard to compromise. We got a new fridge so I had to get new filters. The factory filter actually was quite good, easy drop, but it’s also very expensive so I thought I would try and see if I could find something comparable, I ordered these on Amazon prime day. I did not like the taste and I’m taking them back. I ended up purchasing Pure Line. I just installed a cartridge and the water taste delicious sorry to say The’s Glacier Cartridges will be going back.

    No se pudo cargar el archivo multimedia. I cannot believe how much these water filters cost! It reminds me of printer companies robbing us on ink replacement cartridges. The manufacturer recommends replacing the water filter every six months. I have left mine in much longer as I try to stretch the extreme cost of replacing this filters every 6 month. I decided to give this brand a try and see if they worked well. When I remove this replacement, I plan on cutting this one and the name brand one in half and look at the filtering contents to see if there is a difference in them. But right now, cost is driving my decision to move away from OEM or big name brand water filters. This deal comes with two so I will be good for the next year at a fraction of the cost of the name brand water filter. They look identical on the outside and replacing it is very easy. I do receoemnd that you have a larger glass than i show in my video when you first run water thru the new one to prime it just in case you get water in your line causing the water to dispense more forcefully the first usage after changing the filter out. The water does not taste any different with this filter so that is a great sign. I had a friend tell me that they went off-brand and the water tasted like swilling pool water. The water pressure on the dispenser is the same as well. So everything looks great so far. I will update this review in 6 months and let you know what i find inside of this filter when I cut it in half.
