    I am a wax fanatic according to my friends. I have tried most of the so called “ceramic” type sprays and waxes and some are ok but they do not last and still don’t add that smoothness and slick feel that a good Carnuba wax leaves. So I used this specifically on my 5th wheel travel trailer as the sun had changed the color of front of the trailer above the Fifth wheel hookup. The paint was almost white and use to be brown. Long story short is it looks brand new now thanks to th 3M perfect it wax and the 3M Perfect it rubbing compound. This is by far the best wax I’ve ever used. Although it is a little pricey it goes a long way and does the job better than anything I’ve tried before.

    This has to be the best wax. I waxed my 20’ ski boat with a hand foam pad and a microfiber towel. This is the kind of wax that my boat was asking for. Every surface of the boat needs this wax, inside the ice boxes, interior walls, Aluminum, Chrome, Gelcoat, Glass. The wax is easy to apply, and will change the vibe of the vessel inside and outside. Highly recommend!

    This gelcoat correction kit is awesome. I used a flax 3401 dual action polisher, and Adams correction/polishing pads.Finish was horrible when I started. My boat was left in and used on a lake for a few years with high levels of lyme in the water. It looked like someone wet it down and tossed cement on it. A crust had developed at the waterline, and the gelcoat was stained below the waterline. I washed with Dawn detergent. the finish was flat and had some heavy scratches, so I wet sanded those areas with 3000 and 5000 grit. I used the heavy cut(2 passes/spd 6), medium cut(2 passes/spd 5), light cut(1 pass/spd 4),wax (1 pass/spd 1). I am amazed at the difference and will continue to use the wax on my boat. I just wish the wax came in white, the yellow seems to make the gelcoat a little darker, but heck, the boat is 20 years old, so I’m not complaining.

    This product works better than I expected. I first wet sanded the entire boat with 2000 grit sponge sandpaper. Then started cutting it with 3M heavy. After that I used 3M polish. It worked well. In some areas I had to use several passes to get the shine to match allover. This was due to heavy amount of oxidation from never being waxed in 25 years. Take your time when using the heavy “cut” and the wet sanding and the polish goes on like butter! I even tried 3 different synthetic and ceramic wax and none of them even came close.

    This product does not compare to MEGUIAR’S. We got a recommendation from someone to try 3M. We used 3M all morning and it just wasn’t doing a very good job. My husband went to his garage and found what little Meguiar’s was left. Walla!! What a difference. He went to our local auto store and they had it.

    Water really beads up and sheds off my boat hull, and I gained 1 mph on top end after cleaning my hull with the 3M compounds and applying this wax. I also use this wax on my fiberglass bathroom sinks and shower surrounds (not the shower floor!) to extend the cleaning intervals.

    Worked great on my 1994 Sea Ray. This boat looks as new anyway, but 3M hit the mark as usual. This is good stuff. I used my machine and the 3M system on the entire boat and it looks great…actually, better than new. It has lasted well into the summer season. I keep the boat covered year around. I expect it to be doing the job in the spring when I open it up again.

    I’ve always been a 3m fan and I still am. This product let me down. I followed directions step by step and the results were less than satisfactory. Any wax that says” do not let dry to a haze” is a pain in the #^>%|<. Better have a rag in each hand and be ready to wax on/ wax off fast cuz this stuff starts to haze quickly.     I had a 92 boat with heavy oxidation. After wet sanding and polishing with cheap carnuba wax it looked the same after a couple weeks. I bought this wax as a last effort to bring it back to life. It worked like a champ, the finish looks great. This product is worth what it costs and does an excellent job.
