What’s on YOUR laundry detergent?I’ve always liked Arm and Hammer. It hasn’t let me down. I believe the quality is superb as far as cleaning power for, not only for clean clothes but, getting rid of odors. Powder is less money than adding water making this the most concentrated. And I have no allergic reactions. As an added bonus, the durable bucket is reusable! And that’s my part to help save the planet.

My fiance and I are active people. We’re running the washing machine 2-3 times each week, easily–full of sweaty clothes from running and hiking, plus the usual everyday clothes too. I just went back through my amazon purchases to see that we bought this in June 2023 – and today, late September 2024, I feel like we have barely put a dent in this tub!! We have found this powder to be every bit as effective as the liquid detergents we used before switching to powder. We put a little scoop that we got in a package of Gatorade powder in the tub since that is the exact amount that we end up using (I believe it is 1-2 tbsp). The powder is also super easy to travel with. When we travel by car and know we will need to use a laundromat, we put a scoop of powdered detergent in a small tupperware.

I thought my new speed queen front loader was the issue not getting clothes clean and the stains out and the whites back to white. Just switched to arm and hammer powder and it a huge difference. Stains are out and whites are white without bleach.

So I ordered this May 5, 2024 and it arrived very fast I got it May 7, 2024. I got this because the current laundry detergent we use was causing my family to itch. My sister recommended this detergent so I gave it a try. I love the fact it comes in bulk.Let me say this is heavy. It’s the size of cat litter tub and weights as much. Upon opening it I love the smell. It smells so good. It does a good job of cleaning the clothes and doesn’t leave powder stains you have to hand clean off like others. The clothes smell good and feels so soft. My family no longer itches. All in all I love this brand.

I got this in March 2024. it came in a large resealable pail. Using a half measure for each load and I still have half a pail left so it is very long lasting. I usually pay around 30.00 a month on detergent. This has already saved me from spending 60.00 on detergent in the last three months. I imagine it may last another three months with what I have left. So that’s a 150.00 savings. Good value, good price. Yes, I will rebuy once I am almost on empty. Then I will reuse this pail for something else like cat litter!

We decided in 2020 to start stocking up on daily use products because of supply chain breakdowns and things like paper products running out. When I found that one of these containers lasted a few months…I realized this is cheaper then buying smaller containers. YMMMV, but seems to me like this is a good deal for laundry soap. : Update 2024. My wife and I found that since 2020 we ordered 4 of these plastic buckets for laundry soap from Amazon. (We ordered 3 in 2020/ and one more in 2023.) Btw just to be fair I think my wife bought at least one other soap in bulk that covered a few months in 2023 but we did just end up using the last of this soap the end of December. This is the commercial grade laundry soap from Arm & Hammer. The cost went from $34/bucket to $46 a bucket. We decided that with inflation using the Alpha strategy and buying what we use for the year would be the best option. We also figured that the rate of inflation would make these buckets go up another $10 each year. At this rate we ordered six laundry buckets and should be good until around 2026 sometime. Keep in mind these buckets have about 290 loads of laundry soap in them. Currently while searching online these same buckets retail for over $60. So buying them on Amazon for $46 seems like a good deal. Purchasing this soap in volume means avoiding the inflation that is coming and locking in on a set price to save money. I like saving money. I love this soap!!! It works perfect for our clothes, doesn’t fade them or anything!! I have an HE washer and I use to put it in the thingy but now I sprinkle some in the bottom, layer my clothing as I should, and sprinkle ole on top. Clean clothes when it’s done!!

This smells good and leaves a nice light scent, especially when paired with the arm and hammer light crisp clean scent beads. Comes with a plastic measuring cup inside. My only complaint is that occasionally the powder will clump up and not dissolve in my cold water washes but it’s not a huge deal

You get what you order. I washed my son’s football clothes and it got that funk out. I have a he washer and use full water fill as I know sometimes ppl feel this brand can sit on clothes. The powder dissolved and will dissolve is used properly. Detergent smells nice but the scoop is a little flimsy so be gentle with it. If you have kids that do laundry they may overuse the powder bc the scoop is way bigger than the dosage.
